1st Piano recital in the books!!
I cant even describe how proud I am of Alexis today!
I am {of course} proud of Alexis everyday, but today was just amazing for her!
Today was her 1st piano recital!
She did AMAZING!!!
She did 3 songs and she just blew me away.
For the sheer fact that she JUST started playing, had never picked up a piano book to know what sheet music even is, and to only have 12 lessons!.................
She ROCKED it!
She has caught on SO well and even Miss Bekah {her teacher} is just so proud of how well she has caught on and can read the music!
She is a natural!
No doubt about it!
I would like to say............................ that she gets it from me, but I have never taken any type of instrumental lessons ever! :)
Getting ready to go to the recital! Alexis brought along her 'American Doll' with her because Daddy told her that because she has done so well, that she could pick out a new outfit for her doll! :) {Per her request!!}
She has learned so much from her lesson book!!
Miss. Bekah has been such a great teacher for Alexis! We asked her to continue to help Alexis and she agreed! She has been so patient and knowledgeable toward Alexis! I am so glad Alexis has had such a great 1st teacher to help her love playing the piano!
Miss. Bekah played a couple of songs at the end for us and just played SO beautifully! I cant wait to one day hear Alexis play just like her when she is older!!
This girl played soooo well! She just amazes me! She played 3 songs and did awesome!!!
So proud of her!!
And at the end...these two just had to look at the inside of the piano!

Ambereveryday2015!!
Day 105
Nothing sweeter than seeing this little one run in from school holding flowers that she picked for me! She held those flowers all the way from school to home to give me! :) :) :)
Day 106
OH me these two!! :) :) I look down and see this as we are watching the JSU softball team play against Georgia Tech! {They apparently needed to take a minute to apply lipstick!} :) So sweet!!
Day 107
Love seeing these two sweet girls have fun together! They love hanging out together!
Day 108
Super highlight!! Watching Tyler be super surprised for this pre-birthday birthday lunch! Wearing a sombrero on top of his hat! TOOOOO funny! :)
{And seeing how happy Alexis is that she got to steal the cherry off of his dessert. As you can see she is eating it as fast as she could in the picture!} :)
Day 109
Love hanging out with the fabulous girls and celebrating Margie!!
Day 110
Seeing Alexis working hard and understanding her homework! So proud of her on how well she is doing!
Day 111
Yep, love this guy! We had a great afternoon roaming the wilderness in search of turkies! :) We didnt hear a single one....except I thought we did, until Tyler informed me that it was a donkey!
And by the way, a BIG thank you to Pawpaw for marking the trees on the trail because trying to keep up with long {and I mean LONG} legged, knows his way through the woods and on a mission to get a turkey Tyler, it was hard to keep up and not get lost! Whew! I didnt get lost and we didnt see or hear a turkey, but I still loved hanging out with this guy! :)
Day 112
Happy birthday to ME! :) :) I had such a great birthday day!! I am sooo blessed to get to have another year and thank God for all the blessings in my life! Especially this little girl! She has my heart!!
Day 113
I got Lily's actual pictures in! So cute!! Love her costume and her cute little class!!

In memory....
This beautiful girl above just turned 16 in February.
Her name is Keaten Ansley Beam.
Her mother used to babysit Andrew and I during the summer months while we were out of school and I always looked up to her. Her mother also taught me private gymnastic lessons.
She looks just like her mom..........
Saturday night, Keaten was supposed to be spending the night with a friend. Instead, she decided to go to a party.
Well, leaving the party early Sunday morning, at 3:30am, she had a wreck and flipped her Jeep.
She had the wreck at 3:30am and was not found until 5:00am. Who knows what happened in that time frame.....was she even alive then and possibly could have been saved?
Her parents thought she was at her friend's house safe and sound......
She is a beautiful girl both inside and out.....and it makes my heart hurt so bad because she had her whole life ahead of her!.....
Praying for her family and friends and knowing that there is a beautiful new angel above who through her story will help other young teenagers realize the risk of what could happen when they are out doing things and going places that their parents dont know anything about.
When you are 16, have a new car...you think you are SO cool and just can do anything and everything that you want... and that there just are no 'dangers in the world' or that it 'wont happen to you'.... when you are out 'having fun.' Life is just so short and it just breaks my heart that this has happened and it could have possibly been prevented if she were where she was supposed to be............ and doing what she was supposed to have been doing....
Just in one day of the word getting out about Keaten, the whole community is bringing awareness!
Rest in peace Keaten Beam.................................................

In common....
What does a paper turkey taped to a Sophia the First box, a tiny sombrero, a 'girls' party mixed with Tyler's birthday and the ultimate sugar high all have in common???.............
It was alllll this weekend!! :) :)
We had a packed full weekend with LOADS of fun!!
And...today is Daddy's birthday!!
HAPPY birthday to YOU! We looove you!!
We kicked off the fabulous weekend with dinner with the Grogans at Cracker Barrel! We love the Grogans!
Saturday we had lunch at Baja Grill and I TOTALLY suprised Tyler by telling the waiter that it was his birthday! They sang happy birthday to him {in Spanish!!}....gave him the ultimate SMALLEST sombrero ever and wiped the whip cream from the dessert they brought on his face! It was hilarious!!! :)
After our fun filled lunch we headed to the land and I practiced shooting my gun. BOY does my shoulder hurt the next day from it but it was fun practicing! Tyler says I got this one for sure!!! ha!
Sunday and more fun days! The girls and I headed to Birmingham to celebrate Margie's wedding shower at Lana's clubhouse in her neighborhood!
These two girls were super excited about it!!
The shower was sooo cute! So excited for Margie and Blake!!! I could NOT keep the girls away from all the fruit etc!!....major sugar high!{especially for Lily!}
Adorable cookies!!
The cute sign in table!

So cute! She loves her Margie! Cant wait for Margie to join the family! She is just a sweet, beautiful and fun girl!
Then we loaded up and headed for more birthday fun for Daddy! Tyler got to pick where he wanted to eat since it was his birthday! He chose Longhorns because he is obsessed with their steaks! He had the biggest steak I have ever seen! {And wolfed every last bite of it down too!!} Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi helped us celebrate him!!
Then he had happy birthday sang again to him and they brought out this huge thing of yummy ice cream.......................and look who decided that it was theirs!!??!?!
On top of ALL the fruit, ice cream, etc that the two little ones divulged in.............we topped it off by having yogurt after dinner!! OH ME, Lily and Alexis are going to be on a sugar high for weeks!
Alexis drew the ice cream cones and colored the sheet at the top and asked the lady that worked the counter to please hang hers up! {she is so talented!} :)

A little tutu and a little birthday party!...
Today marked Aubie's 1st birthday!! He is 1!
Where has the time gone! :) :)
Yesterday was Lily's ballet pictures! To say she looked soooo ADORABLE is such an understatement!!
This little adorable ballerina! She doesnt know how much she has my heart! I just love this little one to pieces!!
Her bun turned out so beautiful!! {even with the side of hair that she decided to chop off!} :)
I hate that the pictures I took with my phone turned out not so great. :( I cant wait to get the actual pictures in!
Her little group! I just love their costumes!!
These two little girls of mine were SO excited about Aubie's birthday party! I honestly can say I think they seemed more excited about having a party for him than they have been about their own parties!!
Daddy helped them wrap his gift!
We stuck a birthday hat on him! {It only lasted .1 seconds!} :) :)
We sang him happy birthday!.....We let him 'blow out' the candle!....then he 'opened' his gift AND then....we ate the cupcakes! {Even his!} {The girls split Aubie's!}
Alexis and Lily picked out Aubie's gift at PetSmart! It is actually a dog toy that squeaks but they loved it and said Aubie just HAD to HAVE it! :) It is a teddy bear/dog type animal with a bow. Alexis said it is Aubie's girlfriend! :)
I think he is thrilled about his gift! :)
