We are SUPER excited here at the Law home that tomorrow we are heading to our most favorite place on the planet..........Auburn!!
We just LOVE Auburn!
LOVE! :)
To no surprise, we have been busy bees this week! Living life to the fullest for sure! Every single minute! :)
We finished off Summer Cheer Camp with the JSU cheerleaders this week! These sweet, hardworking, silly, loud, fun girls had a blast! I am looking forward to the season starting and watching this group shine! They are going to be an awesome group and are going to do awesome at competition this year! Im so excited! :)
Silly face picture...per their request of course!
Alexis works hard every week at gym but this week...look at her go!
She is SOOOOO close to getting her backwalk over!! SHE IS SO CLOSE!! I just want to go over there and barely bump her to help her get over! It wont be long for her because she is soooo close!
Alexis is LOVING Summer Camp at the Community Center! This week they went on TWO field trips! Alexis was pumped about this week for sure! Tuesday they went to the Plantariuam at JSU and then had lunch there! She loved it and today they went to The Factory! I have NO idea where she is in this picture but she is there somewhere and came home saying she had so much fun today! To cap off today, we met Gran, Andrew, Pam and Richard at Moe's to pick up Lily and eat with them. Lily enjoyed an impromptu spend the night time and she said she had SO much fun spending the night last night and then riding on the float and swimming today!
This was Daddy and Alexis tonight WAAAYYY past her bedtime! They just wouldnt stop working on this awesome gem! We went ahead and gave Alexis her birthday gift from us since it will be hard for her to do the Legos while we are in Auburn and she was SO excited to get this! It is the coolest and cutest thing! I cant wait to see the final product once they finish it when we get back from our trip! They worked hard tonight on it! Deep concentration for sure! :)
AND...bright and early in the morning..................AUBURN! Whoo hoo!!

Sun filled weekend!
We had a semi low key weekend and it was just what the doctor ordered!
So, as soon as I picked Lily up from school on Friday, the first thing that she said was 'I want to have a Lily, Mommy and Daddy day only!' Im still not sure why she exclaimed this and why she didnt want Alexis to join because I asked her and she just said she wanted it to be Lily day....... so, little did she know, she was going to have that day anyways. Alexis just so happened to have math tutoring that afternoon and then right after I took her over to spend the night with Sara Kate.
So, even though Lily didnt know this, she was getting a 'Lily' day anyways! Soooo....I asked her what she wanted to do and she said 2 things.
1. She wanted to go to the park and 'play and play and play in the creek.' So, we checked that off the list! :)
2. She wanted to go to the place where they have the really good chips and salsa to eat! {And she doesnt even eat salsa!} :) So, we headed to Baja Grill for some yummy mexican after we took her to the park!
This was my sweet view as I pushed her in the swing! In a blink of an eye this little ponytail is going to be all grown up!
Daddy and Lily on 'Lily, Mommy and Daddy day' checking out the creek!
Then of course she had to take a dip! We had such a great Friday afternoon with our little chick! She tried to 'milk' the 'Lily, Mommy and Daddy' day by saying that she was going to get a toy at Wal-Mart when we stopped by there really quick after eating! Tyler informed her that her afternoon was over so no toy! She quickly informed him that it wasnt over yet so she picked out a fun notepad because she informed us that she 'really really needed one!' :) :)
Saturday we woke up bright and early and went to pick up the big girls from SK's house and we all went to the Piedmont pool for the first time this Summer! Oh how I have missed pool weekends and soooo glad that they are back! We got there too early and the pool wasnt opened yet so we headed down to McDonalds for an ice-cream to wait out our time before it opened! The girls wanted to sit in their 'secret hideout' to eat theirs! {And yes, Lily wore just her bathing suit into McDonald's! We were super trailer parking it!} :)
I didnt get an ice-cream from McDonald's because I was waiting on this!! A Frio pop! My ALL time favorite...Sea Salt Carmel! THE BEST thing you will EVER eat!
Sun, lounge chair, pool, big slide, blue skies, my family, and THIS yummy piece of Heaven equals PERFECTION! :)
We love to go down the big slide here! Well, they all do, I dont really like it...but I did it to be 'fun' with them! ha!
Lily LOVED it!
Alexis LOVED it!
Tyler LOVED it! :)
I thought I took a picture of Sara Kate going down, but I guess I didnt because the picture wasnt on my camera...but these two had fun swimming and hanging out together! When we got home Alexis crashed and took about a 2 hour nap because between 'staying up all night' at Sara Kate's house and swimming, it wiped her out!
Yesterday night I had the Church's Women Progressive Dinner! I really enjoyed hanging out with these fabulous ladies and enjoying dinner! The 'Progressive' part of the dinner was new to me but I enjoyed it! I hosted one of the 'salad' houses and I hope to host again on the next one!
And THIS everyone! THIS......ahhh......is the LAST check that I will EVER have to write for daycare EVER again! I turned it around so I wouldnt share my information, but I had to document this because I have been waiting for this day for a looooong time! NO more DAYCARE! Whoo hoo!! I feel like Im going to feel like I have won the lottery but then only to realize that I do still have to pay for Lily to be in the Pre-K program {even though it will be cheaper than daycare} and we added an extra class for Alexis in dance this coming up season soooo........Im really not going to have any extra money just laying around like my brain is wishing and hoping! :)
Lily is super excited that she has been selected to be in 'big girl' school with Alexis this Fall and Im excited for her too since she missed the cut off for Kindergarten. And, Alexis is super excited about taking ballet and jazz this Fall too! A lot of fun changes coming our way!
Having dinner at Nan and Pawpaws of some yummy homecooking with lots of leftovers for us to bring home just capped off the great weekend! Now....a short week to make it to Auburn and Alexis turning 8! Yayy!!

Life Lately~ dragging
Oh me, this week has been killer....
I just have not been with it this week because we have had SO much going on and I feel like I have just been swishing through doing it all.
The week after a week long trip is tough!
We have had Cheer Camp this week with the JSU cheerleaders which has been super fun, but not getting home until late and then turning around and having to go to work and then back again...while throwing in the rest of life.....and then also math tutoring, well....let's just say, I am glad today is Friday!
I have no pictures to show of the week because to be honest, I just havent felt like taking any! ha!
It has been a great week though and actually has flown by pretty quick and not dragged so that's good! We dont have any plans this weekend {except I have a progressive woman's dinner at Church} and I am sooooo excited! :)
Pawpaw sent me this pictures of the girls Wednesday! The girls enjoyed having a tea party out on their deck during the day!
Meet Brittany! She is a local waitress and per Pawpaw, she only serves coffee, tea and cookies, NO hotdogs!
Lily cracks me up how she LOVES to dress up in Alexis' old things {that are still too big for her} and prance around. This is Alexis' very first ballet costume that she has put on to be a waitress! :)
Meet Leslie! She is the primary customer at Brittany's outdoor restaurant! She loves to order the cookies and tea!
I love that my girls love to pretend. Their favorite thing to do at home is come and take mine and Tyler's order and then get all of their fake food and bring it to us to 'eat!' Lily cracks me up at how serious she always gets with what food and drinks that they do or dont have! They both are a mess! :)

Part 4~and ending of the beach trip
Well...you cant stay at the beach forever, so Im finishing up the final days at the beach.
Meet Riley. This little boy has sparked some controversy among the Law girls. Lily...now called Lillian decided Riley was her 'boyfriend'.................but yet as she is telling us this, she claims she doesnt know his name, but that her boyfriend is the boy with the orange bathing suit on! :) Well...Alexis claims that he is her boyfriend because another little friend down there said that he likes her.......................................yet at this time, Alexis didnt know his name either! OH me! I can only picture how the future is going to be with my two and them fighting over boys...............
Since it was the last day at the beach..........I passed out popsicles for all the kids that the girls played with. They all loved it and had blue mouths and tongues when they were done! :)
We got cleaned up and headed to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings before heading to see the new movie that was just out that night called Finding Dory! It is a spin off of Finding Nemo. I dont think it was as good as Finding Nemo but it was a cute movie. The girls loved it which is what counts!
Nothing better than having a Kona Ice after eating dinner which make a second round of popsicles/ice drinks in one day!
Before we hit the movie we did a spin around the fun little amusement park area and let the girls ride a couple of rides. Lily chose this scary bunny to ride on the Carousal!
They decided to do this thing............it spins you around as you fly high and spin too. Just after eating.....I said no to riding this with them! :)
The picture doesnt really show exactly how it was. They got off and were dizzy! :)
Family of four!
Gran and Andrew..and the girls! :)
Finding Dory time!
Sooo.....bright and early Saturday morning...we loaded the car and left the beach. We were all sad to leave the beach but also excited because it was Leslie's wedding day! The girls LOVED watching Leslie and her bridesmaids getting ready! They were intrigued with all the different make up brushes and lipsticks, etc! They both kept picking the brushes up and rubbing them on their faces real quick so I wouldnt see them putting on more make-up! :)
Two beautiful girls excited about the wedding! The bridesmaids were JSU cheerleaders so they were just in Heaven watching them and playing with them!
The Bride and her Flower girls!
So pretty!
Their 1st dance! So happy for Kolton and Leslie and all the future holds for them. This picture cracks me up because you can see Lily in the background standing with one of her new 'best friends' and digging into her candy bag! Leslie had a candy table sooooooo....of course Lily had a bag full the entire time and I have no clue how much candy she consumed even though I do know that she was a live wire because of it all.....and sticky! :) :)
We got home just around 9:00pm just in time to put the girls straight to bed, unload the car and head to bed too!
Sunday was filled with unpacking....unwinding and lunch for Father's Day! And...now, today.....well, today is Monday {and you know how Monday's are} but on top of that, Im back in the groove....and it has been tough today! ha! :)

Beach trippin~Part 3!
So, we are still continuing the fun at the beach!
Tuesday we were on to Day 4 and it was Gran's birthday! We spent the day mostly at the pool on this day and I had two little fish that swam and swam!
Lily loved playing with Alexis' mermaid fin. She has played with it more than Alexis has!
She has become such a good swimmer and Daddy and her worked on perfecting her dive while we were there!
Happy birthday to Gran!
We were camped out at the pool! We sat up shop again!
Gran chose Bayou Joe's for dinner since it was her birthday. It was out by the Bay and was beside the huge yachts and boats. Alexis and Lily loved counting all the small fish swimming around as we were out on the dock eating.
Lily asked me to take a picture 'beside the old man, Mommy!' :)
After we ate, we went and rode rides and go-carts! Lily begged to ride the big Teddy bears! She was the only one on the ride. She wanted to ride it by herself!
LOOK how funny! They closed her up in it and she is so tiny that she couldnt see out. She didnt want to get out so she just sat in it as in spun around! ha!
Tyler, Andrew and Alexis rode the Flying Dragon. BOY, it went high! Alexis held on the the back of the seat the whole entire time but when she got off she exclaimed that she wasnt scared at all and that it was so fun! :)
Next up....GO-CARTS! Daddy and Lily ready to race!
Lex and I ready to go!
And...Andrew was ready! :)
Alexis and I WON!! Yep, we were super fast and beat everybody! Alexis screamed and yelled faster the entire time we were riding. Alexis cracked me up because she bragged and bragged about how we beat them! She is soooo competitive!!
We went to some more shops and rode the 'strip'...{front beach rode} before heading back to the condo. Alexis decided that she wanted a crab! Meet Shell-e! It took her FOREVER to decide which crab shell that she wanted! Finally she chose the crab with the different colored shell!
Wednesday we went swimming again but by a little before lunch time it started getting stormy so we cleaned up and decided it was a good day to ride to Destin since it is only 25 minutes away and do the outlets. We got some good deals and enjoyed a great meal at McGuire's before heading back.
This chick looks too grown up!
Waiting to eat!
This place was SO good! They had a great dessert for birthdays so we told them it was Gran's birthday since technically it was since it was the day before! ha! LILY....oh me! This day was the day she declared to all of us that she is no longer Lily but to now call her Lillian! {her real name so she says!} She is a MESS! :)
Trying to get Lily to sit still and actually smile...........is HARD! :)
See....that girl!
Thursday was a beautiful day! The ocean was rough from the stormy weather on Wednesday so we didnt get to float in it on this day but the girls still stood at the edge and played in the sand!
This was my view for the day! The girls building sand castles and Tyler conquering the waves and being a surf dude! :)
See him out there! :)
Daddy built Alexis a big and nice sand castle. I hate that I forgot to take a picture of it. Alexis was being a micro manager during the whole building process!
Then...Daddy made Lily....or I guess I should say Lillian a mermaid! She had the biggest smile on her face!
She said 'My tail is sooo long and beautiful!' :)
I didnt get any pictures on this night of dinner. We went to Dusty's Oyster House because Tyler was craving oysters. After we ate, we did this. Lillian got a crab too! She decided she wanted one so she got a friend for Shell-e. Meet Fred-e! So now Shell-e and Fred-e are best friends! :)
Part 4 coming tomorrow. Im tired! :)
