Alexis and her cheer squad made it to State and today was the day for them to shine!
I felt so bad for them because they were first on the mat out of 23 squads!
I know....
BUT...they got to enjoy a fun afternoon with each other and spend the night together and then they were READY to go this morning first thing!
They did AWESOME!
I mean the best performance they have done! They didnt place but they gave it their all and left it on the mat!
SO proud of them!
Alexis and I enjoyed a fun lunch together at Taco Mama before heading home and relaxing the rest of the afternoon until we had to get ready for her 1st Choir concert!
Alexis was SO excited about alllll the things! She was just beaming! They left Sunday afternoon...all loaded up together and went to B'ham. Got into their rooms and had some bonding activities...hung out...ordered Buffalo Wild Wings....laughed and just made sweet memories!
Hitting the mat! They have worked so hard and did a great job!
