Silver division and a beauty!

The end of the season is here. It has been such a great season and I have very much enjoyed coaching the great girls that I have had this year! They were such hardworking, respectable, sweet girls!

The season has been long but today is bittersweet!

Couldnt have ended the season any better than Silver Division Grand Champions! It was a perfect day for some football.....and a big win to wrap up the season!

Lily dressed her baby up in Auburn attire too and took her around town with us! :)
My little future Auburn cheerleader! :)
Jacksonville Eagles CHEER! :) :)
Before we headed to the game, we stopped by and Lily picked out her dress for the pageant coming up! She looks SO beautiful! I am SO sad that I will be missing seeing her shine at the pageant...but I cant wait for her to be in the 1st annual JHS pageant! She is going to rock it!
Game time! We thought it was going to be cold!
But it ended up being a perfection of an afternoon!
This little cheerleader's last game of the season!
These two loved being curled up in the soft blanket! They are a mess together!  :)
Two peas in a pod in their adorable Auburn attire! Besties!
 The crew!
Sweet girls...and the sweetest of friends!
Half-time! They just shine out there!
Go Eagles!
The last walk!
Champs!!
Checking out the trophy!
An awesome and HUGE group of great kiddos!
We beat Rainbow City 14-7!
A sweet parent took this and sent it to me! I love my girls! I was hugging them all right before we all left! I am going to miss them!

How many times!?!

How many times can we go to Birmingham and not just have a blast and LOVE our time spent?!?

How many times can the girls go UP and down...UP and down...and UP and down the escalators in the Galleria and not get tired of it and just have SO much fun doing it?!

How many times can we catch up with Meg and Mal and just have a blast?!

the number is endless! :)

We decided to take off to Birmingham for a day of fun since the girls were out of school to celebrate Veteran's Day! Tyler and I took off from work to have a fun family day...and that is exactly what we had!

We packed in shopping, eating, and chatting!

There was no way that we could be in B'ham and not eat at Newks! We were all biting at the bit to get there and eat the yuminess! This picture cracks me up because both the girls have their breadsticks in their hands!
I just loved this! Lily was holding her Daddy's hand and she was just a hopping and a skipping and dancing the whole time up to the store! :)
Of course we checked out Toys R Us! The girls went crazy in there and they both picked out each other's Christmas gift! They both are dying to know what their gift is! I had to threaten them that if they told each other...that I would take both gifts back! :) :)
Tyler and I literally stood over to the side at the top and they did this for about 15 minutes! :)
Alexis was cracking me up because she was acting all 'cool'  going up and down!...yet, the 'child' in her didnt want to stop riding it {even with her 'too cool' face on the whole time!} :) :)
This cracked me up. Of course, when we immediately walk into the Galleria, we are hit with Cindy's Cinnamon shop! OH it smells sooooo good! So Tyler got us some...and she literally licked the entire plastic bagging that was full of cinnamon!
They were amazed at all of the animals in Field and Stream!
There was a huge shoe sale so the girls picked out a new pair of boots and just had to wear them immediately! Alexis is showing hers off in the picture! :)  They have 'heels' on them...and she was just OVER the moon to get them! OH me, that is all she talked about the rest of the day! :)
And what a better way to cap off a fun day!? To spend it with two of my most favorite people on this planet! Meg and Mal met us for dinner and we had a great time eating with them! We headed home after and had two girls passed out quickly on the way home! We got home about 8:15, which was perfect timing to get them into bed and crash ourselves!

Supporting our Veterans!

Today, Alexis' 4th grade class sang a couple of songs during Kittystone's Veteran's Day program!

Alexis has been singing them for weeks at home as they have been stuck in her head from practicing at school!

Daddy has liked to joke with her about one of the songs where in it she sings about toothpaste! You just have to hear the cute song to know what they are joking about but Tyler has been ready for awhile to hear Alexis and her entire class sing it! :)

All the 4th graders!............and the rest of the school sitting down!
Can you spot Alexis? :)
I loved that the other students waived little flags as they sang the song in the crowd. It was sweet to see all of them waiving back and forth!
I see her!
All of the flags of each group within the military being honored. Mr. Loos {Caden's Dad} and Coach Duhon {who we love and was Lily's t ball coach} were two of them up there holding the flags! :)
Lily is waiving her red poppy flower in the crowd below that they made to represent during one of the songs! Do you spot her?! ha! She wanted to get up there and sing too because she practically  knows the songs because of Alexis singing them! She will get her chance when she is in the 4th! :)

Wordless Wednesday!

{Powerful on this Wednesday!}

All the gorgeous leaves!

All the gorgeous Fall leaves...calls for a photo session before they all hit the ground!

We have such a beautiful front yard with our maple trees! I just love how pretty they are!

I took down all of our Halloween decorations today and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. OH, it felt good!
While I worked...the girls did this! Yeah, I let them have it! When this little gem comes in the mail...they go CRAZY! :)
You should have seen them circling and circling!! I was SO tempted to go ahead and get down my Christmas decorations while I was up in the attic...but it was so nice to have my house clean that I decided to wait a couple more weeks before I put it out. I cant wait though to do it! :)
Then...we all got cleaned up and had a little photo session!
My girls!
Love this!
So sweet!
Two girls and their Daddy!
My favorite!
So good of her!
Alexis wanted to do this pose! :)
Two sassy girls!

A play-off, Eagle win!

We won!

Our season continues and we head to the championship next week! The boys havent had as a great of season as the past years but they play hard each game and so when they won yesterday in the play-off game, we were all so proud of them!

This season has flown by and has been a great one too!

Friday night..I had a girl's night with these two with dinner and chatting!! These two is just what I needed on a Friday night! Us giving each other advice....laughing...and just girl talk was perfection! I value their friendship more than they will ever know!
Daddy had a double date with Lex and Lily while I was out! :)
And...ready to roll! The weather was back...more like I like it!...warm and sunny and a great Saturday afternoon! When we got home...Daddy asked me to have an impromptu date night so I got cleaned up and we headed to drop the girls off at Nan and Pawpaw's and we went to dinner and a movie! It was a nice little surprise! :)
My two little cheerleaders! Lily can NOT wait until she is an actual cheerleader next year! :)
Such a beautiful blue sky day watching my cheerleader!
The three amigos!

Welcome to the family Bill!

Bill bought a house.......and Mal is moving in with a roommate and this is their sunroom! They closed on it Monday!
Bill let Lana, Meg and Vic  know his plans earlier in the week so they all were on standby to surprise Mal once Bill surprised proposed to her! :)
Meg helped Bill with some 'romantic decorations!' :) :)
I cant wait to visit their new soon to be home! It looks so cute from what pictures I have seen!

Wordless Wednesday-when we all see Jesus!

Have you ever doubted that God cares for every detail of your days?
Have you ever doubted that He works for good even in the most tragic of circumstances?
See the beautiful family in the top picture?
Adam, passed away in a tragic accident. See that smile in the top picture? I don’t think I ever saw him without it.
Such a wonderful husband to Stephanie and amazing Daddy to his girls.
See the beautiful family in the bottom picture? Mr. Nelson and his wife Betty and their son Chris. Mr. Nelson has been waiting for a kidney transplant for a very, very long time. He has been so sick and so weak and has been praying and praying for a donor match. His family and his friends have all tried and were not a match. He had waited and waited...........
These two families live in the same town.
They go to the same church.
Mr. Nelson received the gift of life from Adam this past Sunday.
Only God orchestrates a miracle like this.
Only God can bring life from tragedy.
Only God!
{This was shared from a friend, but OH how this is amazing! Because of Adam, there can be over 100 organs, etc that can be donated to people like Mr. Nelson who desperately needs them! I didnt even know that many.....and I am an organ donor. This is truly amazing and I only hope that I can help a family like Mr. Nelson's when I am no longer in my body.}

This funeral will also mark the 1st funeral I will have been to since Pops' funeral 7 years ago. {Except Tyler's Gran Dad, Lindy, that was family} In the past 7 years, I have been to a good many visitations but have left before the funeral started just because I have never gotten myself to go. I feel I should...and led to go to Adam's. It will, for sure, be a moment for me.
And, a side note!............ 'When we all get to heaven
What a day of rejoicing that will be
When we all see Jesus
We'll sing and shout for victory!!!'
I want this old hymn played when it is my time to go! {I know, I am being 'weird' by talking about my death, but as the Bible says, everyone's time is on God's time and we never know when our time is over here on Earth and when God is ready to call us home.Oh what a day of rejoicing it will be when we all see Jesus.}

Today...on this day...the 1st of November we are celebrating Adam's life! Tonight was his visitation and tomorrow is his funeral. TODAY also marked the day that the guy that has been on the run for a week was caught after an ATV chase! Amen! What a perfect day to get him! I do pray for the guy {and the one already in jail} that caused this precious girl below to loose her Daddy to find it within themselves to give it all to God and turn their life around for the good!
I asked Stephanie the other day if she would like Jaycee to come home with us while she handled Adam's visitation. She was so thankful for me to ask and so we came home and Jaycee and Lily have played and played the rest of the afternoon! I love this sweet girl and I pray for her to find peace and to know that her Daddy loved her with his whole self!
