BIG reputation!

WHOO HOO!!

THIS day has FINALLY come!

We have been waiting for this weekend and to see Taylor Swift for MONTHS!

We had the BEST time!!

These four were SOO excited! We made it to ATL and had lunch at Tin Lizzy's and just had the best day!

The other side of the table! This was the cool side! :)

After lunch..we did some shopping! They were sooo excited again!

THEN....we found our home for the night! The Westin! SOOO fancy...and we were on the 58th floor! WHAT! The view from our two rooms were unbelievable!

Soo...we made it!!.....along with the other 10,000 people that were trying to check in too! So....we found a nice spot away from the crowds of other people waiting...and got ready! It was something to see! The line to check-in was 3 miles long. Poor Alison had to stand in it to check-in. So...all the other people, not in line, were doing just like us...and trying to rush and get ready...because you HAVE to get ready and CUTE for the Taylor Swift concert! :)

Sweet 'big Carli' as she is called....did all the girl's make-up. They were all in Heaven that Carli was even giving them the time of day! Im not sure how much fun Carli was having doing all their make-up...but each girl LOVED her for doing it!

Then...we had our keys and made our way to the 58th floor! We changed clothes...did some last minute things...took some pictures...and headed out the door!

We made it! SUPER excited!

The whole gang! The Mercedes Benz arena was AMAZING! So nice!

We moved over and sat by Caroline, Carli and Leyla! We had the BEST time singing and dancing and enjoying Charli XCX, Camila and then TAYLOR SWIFT!

The concert was AMAZING! Taylor put on the BEST concert! She thought of every detail! She did an awesome job! This was our view! Every person had these wrist bands that glowed and changed colors based on whatever theme or performance she was doing. It was an amazing view!

The ENTIRE stadium was FULL! Look at each and every light...that is someone's wrist! It was beautiful!

After the concert...we came back and BOY..they were wired and us moms were SO glad they had their own room!
Dont worry...it joined ours so we were right there with them....but they were super pumped that they had their 'own' hotel room! :) :)

The next morning....we let them swim in the awesome pool before heading to eat lunch at OutBack and then heading home!
I couldnt have asked for a better time! SO fun and SO many memories made!

A fun friend Friday night!

To celebrate and cap off a great first week of school....

the girls had a great Friday night with friends spending the night with them!

So....up next, we picked up sweet Madelyn and headed to Baja for dinner! These sweet girls had fun eating and chatting together!

Then...we went and picked up Ella to join the fun! We headed to Germania Springs and they played and played!

AND...then they wanted to get in the CREEK!
Their faces when they got in was priceless! They said it was chilly! :)

Splashing and playing! I totally didnt have this in the plans to come....and for that matter to have them in the creek...OR...for them all to be soaking wet! BUT...fun memories and they had a BLAST! So...I took all of them home...and they jumped and played in the treehouse...ate popsicles....and played more before coming in and me giving them allllll a bath and washing their dirty and WET clothes! :)

These two are WAY too cool for school! But...dont let their 'coolness' fool you...they were soaking wet too from splashing and playing too! :) :)

Three sweet friends!

They had a blast in the treehouse! They all claimed they were going to sleep up there!

Such a peaceful Friday night! This was Tyler and mine's view! They were all up there laughing and having a great time!

Soo...they decided to not spend the night outside...so they got all cleaned up and curled up after playing school in the playroom!

They all survived the night! After this...we all got cleaned up and Caroline...Alexis and I headed to ATL for a fun weekend and to see Taylor Swift! WHOO HOO! :) :)

It FRI-YAY!!

They made it through their 1st week of school. Though they did have a full week, it felt like it! ha!

We celebrated BIG time that it was FRI-YAY!!

After school...I picked these two up...along with Lily {beside Alexis} and we celebrated with 'fun' drinks from Sonic! :) :)

They survived day 2...and 3 things!

They both had another great day today and Im so glad that they have! They came home with all smiles and....

two things Alexis loved from today..
1. That she got to spend more time with her friends
2. That she learned more about what all she will be doing this year!

1.That she made a new friend today
2.That she didnt 'clip down' today {OH goodness, this child!}  :) :)

So...I havent done 3 things lately and since it is a new season of life, I think it is fitting!

Alexis!

1. OH this girl! Everything about her screams growing up! How she chooses her outfits, how she brushes her hair...how she no longer thinks her toys, etc are cool! She is turning closer and closer into a teenager...and she still has 3 years! :) I love seeing her grown into the lady that she is becoming. Her and I had a long talk the night before school started about her nerves, her thoughts, her feelings on growing up. While we were talking...she said 'Mommy, I hope everyone sees that I am nice and that I think of others.' I told her, what matters is that you do things without others seeing...you should be nice to others even when it brings nothing to show to yourself, and in return people will actually, in fact, see how beautiful you are on the inside!' She is learning...she is growing...and Im so proud of her!

2.She is so proud and loves her new smile! She just got her braces off and she is just in awe of her teeth. She also has been so good about brushing her teeth and keeping up with and wearing her retainer. She is such a responsible girl!

3.5th grade! She just started the new school year and to see how excited she is about school makes my heart happy! She is ready to conquer this new year!

Lily!

1. This one has just bloomed over the last couple of months! She has hit a big growth spurt and is starting to surpass Alexis! They both are wearing the SAME size panties right now! bahaha! Alexis will kill me knowing I wrote this...but Lily thinks it is so awesome! :) :)

2.Her ROOOMMMM!! Oh my goodness if you walk in her room...you will think a BOMB went off! The thing about it, though, is....she knows exactly where she has put everything. Everything is in a spot and laid out ALL over the place in the exact spot she wants it! If I move a single tiny toy or anything..she has a come apart because her room is NOW messed up! It is a daily struggle with her!

3.She still will tell you that she should be in the 2nd grade instead of the 1st grade....just because she can not get over the fact that there is an age cut-off BUT...she is loving 1st grade so far and super excited about school starting back just like Alexis! She has become such a good helper to me and just loves doing 'homework.' She is just growing up SO fast too! :)

They were off to 1st and 5th grade!

School was back in session today!

The girls, both, came home saying they had the BEST day ever!

Hearing that made my heart happy!

My prayer was that they would have the best 1st day and school year! Great to know that so far so good!

As they head out to conquer this world! I hope they continue to be a lady, smile, think of others and do the best they can in everything they try!

Lily's day!

Lily has been so ready to meet her teacher and see her friends!

Tonight that finally happened!

She was a little bummed...as she doesnt have very many people she knows that are in her class this year...

but I explained to her that it just means that she gets to meet new friends!

Soo...then she sees that Kelby and Callie are in the same class!...well...she runs into that classroom and gives them a hug and says...'OH, yall are together!'.........then looks over and sees Jack {from her kindergarten class}...and says LOUDLY...'OHHHH! You have my boyfriend in your class too! No fair!'

Talk about OH my goodness! All the parents in there just start dying laughing...including Jack's Mom!

But....we love Mrs. Ramsay...and I know she is going to have a great year!

The girls had a full day today. They went and saw the Winnie the Pooh movie with Gran then Alexis had danceline practice.....Lily had Orientation...then Alexis is now spending the night with Willa Kate. Yet again..we are soaking up the last days of Summer since school starts Wednesday!!

Class of 2030! OH my goodness....it seems soooo far away..but it will fly and be here before I know it!

Almost over!

You know Summer is almost over when....

we have the Law reunion!

It is always a time of the year that I look forward to...yet..it also marks that school is about to start since it is the 1st weekend in August!

Summer is officially almost over...with only 2 days left! It has just FLOWN by!

Then food time! TONS of food...every year! We took home to go boxes so yep, didnt have to worry about dinner either!

We came home and my two ended the day in the pool! We are trying our best to soak up as much of Summer that there is left! <3

Let's BASH!

We had a great...great...and fun night with our neighbors last night!

Last night we hosted about 55 of our neighbors and the night was filled with music,lights, food, fellowship, laughter, air hockey, basketball tournaments, softball games, corn-hole, bubbles, and more!

We had the best time getting to know neighbors that are newer to the neighborhood as well as ones that have lived here for awhile!

It was a big hit and we all cant wait for the next one!

This picture cracks me up because I had about 5 helpers {and I am using that word loosely!} that helped me set up a little bit! They drew this in the road to make sure everyone knew....Party this way! :) :)

And...they even made parking spots! bahaha! What was funny...they were actually used! There were a couple of bikes and a four wheeler perfectly parked in them!

We had a TON of yummy food! We had sooo much!

Everyone got to know each other and just hung out and talked! So nice and a beautiful afternoon!

More catching up!

There were kids everywhere! Between the yard...the trampoline...the area where I put the sidewalk chalk and bubbles...to our basement....they played and played!

I got the crew above to take a picture real quick! They were not too happy with me for breaking up their game for a minute for a picture! :) I wish I would have gotten a picture of ALLLL the kiddos as there were sooo many!

Heading into 5th grade!

Yesterday afternoon marked Alexis' 5th grade Orientation.

BOY, she is super excited about this year and loves all the friends in her class and her teachers. Im so glad and thankful that she is excited!

Tyler and I divided and conquered. Lily had sweet Kelby's pool birthday party so they went one way and Lex and I headed to KittyStone!

Lily will have her Orientation Monday...and she is BUSTING at the seams to have hers! :)

Alexis just loves her homeroom teacher, Mrs. Ashley Smith!

These girls have been with each other pretty much each year! My goodness they are growing up too!
