Lily's day!
It is the last week of school... and Lily had her special day yesterday to mark her Pre-K year ending!
It rained 'cats and dogs' so they didnt get to play much at Germania Springs like they had hoped but they still had fun and had snacks, face painting, crafts, etc to make it special!
I am so thankful Lily was approved/accepted into the program because she has grown sooo much this year! She not only has become more confident with herself but she is more confident in knowing how the school 'works' and it makes me grateful that she will roll right into Kindergarten and be comfortable and fine!
Daddy went with her on her special day and they continued the fun together with Los Mex, and yogurt to round out their fun day together!
Since Daddy and Lily were having their special day together...this chick and I enjoyed breakfast together before school to celebrate her hard work this year!
I am suuuuper proud of her!
Miss Bailey came to help paint faces! Lily loves her...and we do too....they had fun under the pavilion despite the rain!
Her 'tattoo' and her flower face! :)
The rain stopped briefly so they got some energy out while they could!
And...did some sidewalk art! :)
While Lily and Daddy were having all the fun...I had fun celebrating this lovely lady retiring. Donna is a very special person and we all love her very much and will miss her when she officially leaves us! It was a special day celebrating her!
P.S. I have the greatest 'work family' I just love them! {me, Tubbs, Tammy, Kristi and Donna} :) :)

Our Math Whiz...Awards day for Lex!
Today marked the LAST Monday for Alexis' 3rd grade and Lily's Pre-K year!
They are both sooo excited for Summer!
We are SO super proud of Alexis today! She had her Awards Day! She has worked SOOOO hard this year and she dug her heels in and pulled it through to the end!
At the beginning of the year, we were all in tears at how much 3rd grade was a HUGE change from 2nd. Poor Alexis was just struggling to 'mature' more in every aspect. Even areas that we didnt even think!
But...through the tears, struggles, determination, working and working...practicing and practicing {MOSTLY in Math} she has conquered 3rd and I {especially} am just sooo proud of her!
She walked away today with her 'White Eagle' award for reading soooo many books and scoring sooo great on the AR tests from those books and she also got the MATH WHIZ award! The top 'most improved' Math student out of her whole class!
TO SAY Alexis GOT a MATH award!?!?
WHAT!!??
AWESOME!!
Her hard....HARD..work has paid off! SO proud of her!!
Her last 'Monday' of Pre-K! :)
Looking pretty today!
My goodness she is growing! :) Poor thing...a bug bit her twice on her left eye yesterday during Adalee's birthday pool party! Her eye was really really swollen. You can see it somewhat in this picture. I hated that her eye had to look like that today of all days! She was a trooper though with it!
Ready for awards!
All the 'White Eagles!'
So proud!
She was sooo thrilled when her name was called for the Math Whiz award! Super duper excited for her because that shows hard work pays off!
They did a cute song about 'how we are in this together' at the end to round out the show! :)
Her awards!
Look what else came home today! LOVE these pictures of them from the Daddy/Daughter dance!
Then...I got home...and these two were at my house! They had 'walked' over from Carli's house! {Carrie followed them in her car over!} So, I gave them popsicles...made their day..and they played 'dancing' and made videos the rest of the afternoon....
...........Until it was time for them to 'walk' back home! :) :) :)..........................

Sweet friends!
Sweet friends just make life better!
So thankful my girls have sweet friends that their friendship will hopefully continue to grow and last a lifetime!
Sweet Jaycee and Lily playing at Church this morning! They had a system going! Jaycee was making the cookies with the play-do........Lily was making the 'strawberries' and the rest of the 'fun decor' like little 'roses' to put on the cookies and then Elyse took them all over and was cooking them in the kitchen oven! They were having a blast playing together! :)
And then onto Addie's birthday luau! Nothing better than a beautiful afternoon, friends...and a POOL! :)

Glorious
Today was glorious!
We woke up and had Alexis' soccer tournament bright and early this morning so we were up and at'em and ready to conquer the day...at 8:15am! :)
Alexis' team played two games....but didnt win, so we dont have to play again tomorrow for the championship.
I think I can safely say....
that everyone in the Law home isnt sad about that! :)
I think Alexis did the 'happy dance' that soccer season ended today! :)
We headed to get a 'fun' drink from Sonic before heading to the fun at the 'Jamfest' that JSU hosted today.
There were bouncy houses, arts and crafts, booths, live music and more!
It was a fun event and I hope that it continues....and grows when more people catch on about the fun and come!
When we got home...we were nasty, sweaty and stinky messes so we all took showers......
and curled up for movies...
just in PERFECT timing for the afternoon storms to roll in!
Glorious!
All curled up, snug, warm, cozy...watching movies and relaxing the rest of the day!
Perfection! :)
And before the full day even got started...these two took a spin around the block since Daddy is almost done with this baby of his! :) Lily helped him test it out!
I will do a whole post on the go-cart once it is fully complete but just had to share some pictures of them having fun! Lily loved it! :) Daddy took me on a spin....and.....
well...
we broke it! :)
We got up the hill...and turned around...and it fell apart!
I dont think the poor thing could take two big adults riding it at once! So...I had to push Tyler home! So needless to say...it still needs a little more work before it is perfection! :)
Tickles didnt like the go-cart...but loves me to pet her! :)
Then...on to Tourney time! They tried hard but came away with two loses. BOO! But, we dont have to play tomorrow....so WHOO HOO! :)
Lily did this while we watched! She was cracking me up! She lined the cards in a looong line and played a matching game!
Then she decided to do magic tricks! I laughed and laughed! This made my day for sure! She gave the cards to her Daddy and said she was going to pick the card...look at it...and put it back in the stack for him to pick her card.
OOOHH, it was hilarious...she kept sticking her card back in the very back of the stack...but to her so thought she was making it 'hard' for him to find her card. Then she as just sooo amazed that he kept guessing her card! I was crying laughing so hard at them!
Jamfest time! They had a great idea! I hate that the storms came and so Im sure they had to end it since it was supposed to be until 6. I was sooo glad for the storms though because it was perfection to hear the rain and it to get a little darker and us just enjoy being at home and cozy while relaxing! Thankful for a beautiful day while we were out..and thankful that God said...'Now, it needs to rain..and all be still!' :)
They bounced and bounced!
This was their favorite part! They picked the flowers they wanted and covered the flowers in cheesecloths and then hit the flowers with a hammer! They had sooo much fun! Alexis wanted to keep doing it over and over!
They made art! They LOVED this! SO cool too!
A great day it was!

The last night of SLAM calls for...
ICE CREAM!...
or for Lily...a LOAD full of whipped cream with a ton of sprinkles and candy on top! :) :)
We have loved SLAM on Wednesday nights at Church and sad it is ending for the Summer but we have Vacation Bible School yet to come and not to mention Summer itself...so we are excited about all of that!
I have loved seeing my girls love going to Church and learning how to be more like God and how to follow in his example! I have also really enjoyed helping in the 'Princess Training' class with all the sweet girls that were in it! Some of the things they have said and talk about has cracked me up with how honest and silly they are too! :)
We will see SLAM again come the Fall! :)
Look at this cutie cutie cutie pie! :) She had 'Show and Tell' day and so she brought her Lego girl! :) She had to share something that was special to her so she chose her to talk about how she loves to put Legos together and how she got that set for her last birthday!
And..look at her cute new haircut too! {I had to get a frontal picture!} :)
And tonight marked the last night! Both girls have had so much fun! They played the 'ceran wrap' game where they had to speed around the circle trying to unravel it! At the end, there was a prize! They were all going crazy trying to be the one to get it all unraveled!
Their main quote was 'Determination! Deciding it's worth it to finish what you started!' I hope Alexis soaks that in and remembers it!
And, I just had to take this picture because half the girls on Wednesday nights have worn the brand Ruffle Girl at some point! We love it! :) Such cutie pies!
We want ice cream! :)
Ellie, Lex and Audrey! Sweet girls!

Wordless Wednesday!
{I told them to look at each other and smile...
.............this is what Alexis did...
she has been doing 'this face' for awhile now...and it drives me crazy! I dont know why or where she has gotten that she should make this face all the time! I told her that if she keeps doing it that her face is going to 'stick' like that! Needless to say, she keeps making it!} :) :) Goodness me!

I couldnt resist!
I just had to do it!
I have been wanting to get my hands on their hair for awhile now but had to wait until their dance recital was over due to them needing a pretty ballet bun!....
So, dance is now over...
and hair is gone!
It was perfect timing because Alexis had knot of caked in food in a section of her hair!
Disgusting!!
So, now... no more worrying about her dragging her hair through her food!
My hair cutting skills turned out great for this cut! So cute on her! And..side note...she didnt freak out about it being shorter either! Whew! :)
It looks so cute on her!
Here is a 'before' shot of how her hair looked before I chopped it off!
And Miss Lily's cut! I didnt get a front shot! BOO...but hers is cute too!
And...her is a 'before' shot of her hair too! Her new cut looks sooo much better! Her hair looks so much better shorter to me! :)
And....welcome to the flower shop! We are open from 4:30pm until 8:00pm! :) :) WOW at all the flowers the girls got during their recital! We are enjoying them..........throughout our whole house! :)
And, Lily had her last soccer game yesterday for the year! She has LOVED playing soccer and has said that she is looking forward to playing next year too! She has done so well and is a tough little cookie out there! Nothing better but to play all of her friends team for the last game! They were sooo cute out there chasing each other more than kicking the ball! :)
She loves being goalie! I have loved watching her play! Alexis' team is in a tournament this weekend to end their season. We shall see how it goes! :) :)
