Tomorrow is Friday!
Whoo hooo!
Even though I am happy tomorrow is Friday...here is a recap of the end of our fun Homecoming week!
Wednesday we had 'See you at the Pole' to pray for our school, students, teachers, parents, etc. There was a great turnout and I was honored to be apart of it with Alexis. I was super sad that Lily didnt get to come, she has 'hand foot & mouth' so she has missed the rest of the week of school. :(
Wednesday also was filled with 'Oh the places we will go' day so they had to wear their favorite places. Alexis wore her new Nashville shirt that Nan got her when her and Pawpaw went on their trip. Alexis loves Tennessee....Gatlinburg especially so she was super excited to wear her shirt!
And look what came in! Her school pictures! I cant wait to see Lily's when she goes back to school next week! I think hers turned out so good and cant wait to see it in the Yearbook this year! :)
And today was 'Game of Life' where all the students wore what they want to be when they grow up. Alexis wore her old cheer uniform because she says she wants to be an Auburn cheerleader when she grows up! :)

Words with friends..that is the best!..along with Halloween decorations!
Today was day 2 of Homecoming week and Alexis is loving this week! Lily isnt really sure about it or understands it but Alexis does and today was super fun {per her} to make different words with her friends! :)
Also, I decided to go ahead and get down my Halloween decorations because it is one of my most favorite holidays to decorate for! I LOVE all things...pumpkin....witches {cute and nice/sweet ones!} ghosts...the oranges and 'Fall' colors! I love it ALL! :)
Tyler made a point to say that I was not allowed to buy anymore Halloween decorations as he was helping me get it all down from the attic because per him, I have WAY toooo much!
I beg to differ! :)
I just love these two more than they will ever....ever...know!
Alexis and some of her sweet sweet friends!
Caroline...Lettie...Lex...Savannah and Sara Kate
Alexis loves Mrs. Green! Mrs. Green loved going around all day making fun words with everyone! :)
I just had to go ahead and start decorating! I have a little bit more to do as well as put out the decor outside...but I am loving it! I love how each year I try to 'revamp' what I have and use it different ways!
I love how I added the lights this time. The two 'carved' pumpkins look soooo good with them lit up!
My mantle is super fun! Alexis says it is a Pumpkin Witch! :)
Stay tuned tomorrow for 'Favorite Destination' day as Homecoming week continues!...as well as more Halloween decor pictures as I complete it all! :) :)

September is winding down
This is the last week of September and I have already been gearing up for October!
There is supposed to be cooler weather by the end of the week and I have already started putting out my Halloween decorations! {pictures of that coming soon!} :)
I do love Fall! :)
What we have been up to lately as September is ending!...
I just had to post more pictures of cheer because Alexis and her stunt group are just doing sooo awesome together! They have worked so hard and have really come together as a team and shown that they are the best stunt group that we have!
So good!
Sunday we had lunch after Church at Solid Rock and someone has recently painted this on the side of the building and I just think it is super cool! :)
And not only is Alexis doing awesome in cheer....but also working hard at math. I have to say, this year is tough...............but she is pulling through! :)
Today is Monday and marked the 1st day of Homecoming week! {The high school has their Homecoming game Friday night!} so today is 'color' day for each grade! Lily's grade all wore green and Alexis' grade all wore yellow! :)
Tomorrow is 'scrabble day' where everyone wears the letter of their first name. Lucy {Lettie's Mom} made some super CUTE shirts for them to wear that looks like a scrabble blocks. Cant wait for them to wear them!

BIG Eagle win at Homecoming!
First and foremost...........
it was HOOOTTTT!!
Oh my goodness! Record highs today and boy we felt it!
I was soaking wet when I got home! :)
But, we had a great game and great win and the cutest escort around! :)
Homecoming! Look how much they have grown! I love seeing them against this sign and seeing how much they have changed! :)
The megaphones turned out SOOOO cute and so did the footballs! Alexis has proudly put hers in her room in the 'perfect' spot! :)
Lily found her name out of all of them! I didnt even realize she had found it but she did and ran up to me to take a picture of her too with hers. I am super proud she found her name.....but it isnt her megaphone. There is a 'big Lily' on the squad!..........
Alexis and Caroline! Sweet friends!
Alexis and Caden. This is his second year to escort her. She wanted him to do it again because she said that he did such a GREAT job last year! ha! Neither one of them will admit that they like each other! They are super sweet together! Alexis said she 'kind of' likes him because he is so sweet and funny! :)
Getting ready to go out on the field!
Introducing Alexis Kayte Law! The daughter of Tyler and Amber Law. She is in the 3rd grade and escorted by Caden Loos! :) :)
Some of the Homecoming line! :)
I love this picture because he surprised her with flowers and candy {her favorite kind of candy too :)} and he was explaining it all to her when I snapped this picture! She was turning blushing bright red and grinning from ear to ear with happiness! :)
She is now proudly displaying the flowers in her room with a pretty vase right now too! :)
Sweet friends!
Some of the B-Team Eagle cheerleaders! Even though it was a HOT game...they all did great and we all survived out there! {barely!} :) The Eagles WON 20-0 against Cherokee County! Whhhoooo hooo!
I LOVE this picture! OH my they are doing sooooo awesome and they are blowing the other team's cheerleaders OUT of the water! SO proud! :)
Lily is ready for the Auburn game against LSU! GOOOO AUBURN! :) We are now at home resting and BOY....AUBURN WON!! AUBURN WON!! AUBURN beat LSU!! You want to talk about a NAIL biter and down to the last second game.............I have had 10 heart attacks in the past 5 minutes of watching the end of the game! LSU scored with literally 0 seconds left...but after review, the refs overturned the touchdown leaving Auburn still ahead to win since the clock ran out! WAARRR Eagle! :)
My beautiful little Auburn cheerleader!
Look at them during Alexis' first Homecoming!! Circa-2014!

What's going on?!
Sooo..
What has been going on this week?
the same groove with adding into our little Eagle Homecoming week and making it through 3rd grade one math test at a time!
Not going to lie, 3rd grade has been some what rough so far. It is a whole different ballgame than the previous grades and we are feeling it here in the Law home.
Hitting multiplication has been killer!....
BUT, I am sooo proud of Alexis because she has been studying and studying and working soooo hard and this week is the 1st week that we have actually seen that there is hope for sure with learning it!
Mrs. Wilson does 'fact families' version of teaching it and OH me.....we are making it! :)
On another note, we have had a good week. Lily is doing great in Mrs.Bowman's class and loving the fact that she is in the 'big school' I think it has been a great thing to have her in the Pre-K program because she has become comfortable with the new school, how to act in an actual class, how to eat lunch {because crazy as it sounds, even that has to be taught} so she will be super ready for kindergarten next year!
We have loved that the first day of Fall was this week! We have LOVED that The Goldberg's is back on as well as How to Get Away with Murder! I laugh at every.single.thing.said. on the Goldbergs! Whoever created that show and came up with all the throwback 80's story lines are awesome....and I sit on the edge of my seat with How to Get Away with Murder!
Welcome Fall! {but please stay for a long while and make Winter wait forever to come!} :)
We hit another JSU volleyball game last night! We love to support them and the girls LOVE to catch a mini volleyball from the team when they are announced at the start of the game! Super highlight for them! Last night both girls caught one! :)
The guys cut them and sanded it all at the beginning of the week sooooo.....us girls finished it all out! :)
IT is FALL! Which means......not so hotttt weather, beautiful afternoons and a TON of leaves falling! Lily asked to have the broom and she spent the rest of the time sweeping out the leaves, etc from the trampoline. She was working hard out there! :)
My two grown up looking daughters! They both asked to wear jewelry on this day to school. OH me, they are a mess to say the least! :)
It is FRIDAY!! And, in the Fall.......we wear orange and blue on Fridays! War Eagle! {and Go Gamecocks and GOOO Eagles!} :)
We headed to the volleyball game and nothing is better than seeing COCKY! :)
Lily was SUPER excited to catch another volleyball. I think it is awesome that the starting lineup throws out a ball they they personally decorated when their name is called out. Alexis and Lily are gaining a big collection of balls!...and they LOVE it! :)
And, I got to squeeze on this little one who is an identical TWIN to her Daddy! She is still Don jr to a 'T' but she is ooooh sooooo adorable anyways! :) Sweet Collins loved playing with all the balls! :)

B-team CHEER photos!
Last night marked cheer pictures and my goodness trying to get 23 girls to sit and stay....and have 'back straight' and smile and not move............
I wanted to pull my hair out!
Taking pictures are NOT fun...ever....
but when you capture those memories and look back on them years from now....
that is what really counts!
2016! She is grown! NO more baby at all shows! :(
Little Golden Eagle!
Love! :)
So beautiful!
The WHOLE crew!
Some fun snaps I took as we were waiting! Love all of these girls!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!
We have been living life here lately for sure!
Busy...busy...with homework, tests, studying, Church, ballet, cheer, Wednesday night dinners, volleyball games, football games thrown in the mix!
I love getting fun pictures of my girls loving and having fun at Church!
We LOVE Mrs. Angie!!
Alexis is doing a series on 'Trusting God'.....in all things no matter what! These pictures have been demonstrating how to trust God.
Alexis loved helping with dress up time during some of the illustrations!
Meanwhile, please say a BIG prayer for our sweetest little buddy Thompson {aka T-Nash} {he is the sweet one on the end towards the left} They did a very special goodbye send off to him yesterday where everyone wore gold/yellow for 'Going Gold for T-Nash' He has been battling cancer behind his eyes and left yesterday to head back to St. Jude in Tennessee to check status and make sure the tumors are not getting any bigger. Praying for him that they do not have to remove his left eye due to it being the weakest and it having a bigger tumor. Love him and his sweet sweet family too!
It is Homecoming week this week so all of the stud muffins headed to Ryan's to help cut out a TON of megaphones and footballs for the cheerleaders and football players on Saturday! They worked sooo hard and I can not wait to see the final product on Saturday during the Homecoming game!
