Sooo..
What has been going on this week?
the same groove with adding into our little Eagle Homecoming week and making it through 3rd grade one math test at a time!
Not going to lie, 3rd grade has been some what rough so far. It is a whole different ballgame than the previous grades and we are feeling it here in the Law home.
Hitting multiplication has been killer!....
BUT, I am sooo proud of Alexis because she has been studying and studying and working soooo hard and this week is the 1st week that we have actually seen that there is hope for sure with learning it!
Mrs. Wilson does 'fact families' version of teaching it and OH me.....we are making it! :)
On another note, we have had a good week. Lily is doing great in Mrs.Bowman's class and loving the fact that she is in the 'big school' I think it has been a great thing to have her in the Pre-K program because she has become comfortable with the new school, how to act in an actual class, how to eat lunch {because crazy as it sounds, even that has to be taught} so she will be super ready for kindergarten next year!
We have loved that the first day of Fall was this week! We have LOVED that The Goldberg's is back on as well as How to Get Away with Murder! I laugh at every.single.thing.said. on the Goldbergs! Whoever created that show and came up with all the throwback 80's story lines are awesome....and I sit on the edge of my seat with How to Get Away with Murder!
Welcome Fall! {but please stay for a long while and make Winter wait forever to come!} :)
We hit another JSU volleyball game last night! We love to support them and the girls LOVE to catch a mini volleyball from the team when they are announced at the start of the game! Super highlight for them! Last night both girls caught one! :)
The guys cut them and sanded it all at the beginning of the week sooooo.....us girls finished it all out! :)
IT is FALL! Which means......not so hotttt weather, beautiful afternoons and a TON of leaves falling! Lily asked to have the broom and she spent the rest of the time sweeping out the leaves, etc from the trampoline. She was working hard out there! :)
My two grown up looking daughters! They both asked to wear jewelry on this day to school. OH me, they are a mess to say the least! :)
It is FRIDAY!! And, in the Fall.......we wear orange and blue on Fridays! War Eagle! {and Go Gamecocks and GOOO Eagles!} :)
We headed to the volleyball game and nothing is better than seeing COCKY! :)
Lily was SUPER excited to catch another volleyball. I think it is awesome that the starting lineup throws out a ball they they personally decorated when their name is called out. Alexis and Lily are gaining a big collection of balls!...and they LOVE it! :)
And, I got to squeeze on this little one who is an identical TWIN to her Daddy! She is still Don jr to a 'T' but she is ooooh sooooo adorable anyways! :) Sweet Collins loved playing with all the balls! :)
