The day has come!
Alexis had phase 1 when she was around 9......
and now.....
its time for phase 2!
Surprisingly she only got her top braces and then will go back in September to get the bottom.
We did not know that going in to the appointment but Dr. Ferreira explained that is how he likes to do them so...that is what happened!
He said he likes to have the top adjusted more since those are the 'main' teeth that are shown then he adjusts the bottom to align with the top once the bottom braces are put on..........
So......Alexis was a little relieved that she just had the top because when she had phase 1...she just had top only so she knows 'how to do' just the top! :)
So...so far..she is fine with top. We shall see how she feels when she has both in September!
She has the most beautiful smile already...cant wait to see the transformation when she is done with both!
