The last day of October!

My goodness October has flown by! It is one of my favorite months and I am sad to see it go!

Since Halloween was celebrated yesterday due to today being Sunday...we had a pretty low key day!

Today was the most beautiful Fall day and we soaked up every minute of it!

I cleaned up some of my Halloween decor....{I know...technically today is the 31st...but once a holiday is 'done'....Im done and ready to pack and clean it up and since we technically celebrated it last night....today was the day to get it up! ha!} :)

And....then on to Christmas! :) :) ha!

Since it was so nice outside...we loaded up {minus Alexis...she wanted to stay home and take a nap since all the girls spent the night together} and played some holes of golf! :) I got my very first birdie! WHOO HOO! :) We stopped by Nan and Pawpaws for a little bit before heading home to get cleaned up to go to the Lewis' Halloween party/dinner! The kids played and played and made smores....decorated cookies...and us adults enjoyed allll the food and football and then the Braves! We are currently home and just got to enjoy the GRAND SLAM during the Braves vs Astros World Series game! CHOP ON!

Its been a good day!

Here we go!

She loved driving the cart! We had some questionable moments...ha!... :)

OH...the blue skies!...and this hunk! He played an amazing game! I just love seeing him hit and how far the ball goes! ha!

The four amigos!

The 'Fraternity brothers' {I  know!.............they came up with this idea themselves!} :)

All the girls and Lily, the beauty queen! :)
Then Lily realized she couldnt play well as a beauty queen so she changed! :) This is the only boy that would actually sit still long enough to take a picture! Ridge was eating it up that they all were paying him attention!
She LOVES to decorate cookies and she is so good at it too! Such a fun night with friends and a great way to end one of my favorite holidays and months!

Halloween is in the books!

 This year....

both girls ditched us.

It wasnt like past Halloweens...and I have to say..I am okay with that!

I manned our candy station. One girl went with her friends and they met up with more friends and walk around {like they were cool} :) And then the other girl went off with her friends and had parents....but tried to ditch them but enjoyed getting all the candy and having so much fun! Tyler stayed with me for a little bit and then was off watching the Auburn game and then the Brave game too! We capped off the night by having allll the Halloween goodness at the Sorianos before crashing to bed! It was a perfection of a night because the rain stopped...Auburn won...and so did the Braves!

All the things!

Friday at work we had our Nursing 'Fall In!' It is always a great time with the students and then theres the costumes....food...games....candy...all the things too!

Love these ladies

 Graham cracker for the win!

Of course Soccer was a hotdog!
The Graham cracker, Marshmallow, chocolate and the fire! :)

On a different planet! ha! :)

Out of this world....alien! :)

The aliens!
The Mom crew! :)
The Mom crew times quadruple!
Alll the kids...and this isnt even all of them! It was the first year that I didnt cook a lot and it was kind of nice to just enjoy the craziness...ha! :)

What the heck....I shrinked!

 Yep.....

its THAT time!

THAT time that both girls get just....I dont even know how to describe it! ha! They cant wait to see how much they have grown in  6 months time!

Alexis was up first! So much concentration!

Notice!......Im still standing TALL! :) :) She is soooo close...so come 6 months....oohhhh...we shall see!

Daddy played a mean trick on Lily! He 'measured' her...and then when she stepped away...his 'pencil mark' was lower than where she was the last time. She looks at it and goes... 'What the heck?!?!!???....I shrinked!' OH my goodness we died laughing! bahaha! Tyler couldnt control himself laughing so hard! {And..Lily knows I dont like her saying that word!} :)

They always have to sign their name! :)

Lily...officially grew more than Alexis since the last time we measured! Tyler looked and Lily is taller than Alexis was at the same age! Lily is catching up for sure!
I just had to take a picture.........because this WALL....is my favorite! OH the sweet memories. We looked it over...and the 1st time we measured...Lily was 3!!!..............And..........below the fridge section! So little! :)

Nannie is 85!

 To be 85!

She has had a long and wonderful life! She is spunky, sassy, high heel loving, perfume wearing, every finger blinging, sequin loving, lipstick wearing....85 year old Nannie who hasnt slowed down a bit! We never know what she is going to say....when she is going to say it....what she might even DO....Nannie!

She is 85 tomorrow!

Happy birthday Nannie!

85 never looked so good!

Our Halloween attire!

Well...Alexis....well...you know...teenage mode...didnt let me take any pictures of her, really, for several reasons such as she doesnt wear 'Halloween 'baby' cute' shirts any longer.....and then there is the fact that she is usually running out the door too! :)

So....I got Lily!.............and allll of her Halloween week wear cuteness!

Monday!

We did our annual 'You've been BOOed!' night to two families in our neighborhood! Alexis actually broke my heart and didnt want to participate! She claimed she was studying instead...so I guess I will let it slide! :)

So...Lily hit the Rays and then the Bishops since both are new to the neighborhood! She  loved running up to their house and dropping the goodies before hitting the doorbell and running away! :)

Before she did that and it got dark...Lily had fun riding her bike around with friends. It was such a beautiful afternoon!

Tuesday

This shirt looked so cute on her!

Alexis actually dressed up on this day since the High school had 'Red Ribbon' week....it was wear a tie...like tie up drugs...or something like that! ha!

Wednesday

A pumpkin on this day!

Thursday

BOO!

Friday

And...the ghost that 'dabs' this is her favorite shirt! OH me! :)

Bloody eyeballs and green brains...with pumpkins night!

I think this is going to be a new tradition!

We had a great afternoon and night with family over to eat dinner and then had a pumpkin carving contest!

We had a great time!

There were a TON of food and then it got competitive during the carving especially with Tyler being the judge! :)

Everyone enjoying the Halloween dinner! We missed Brandi and Pawpaw!

You MUST have green brains and bloody eyeballs or your arent living for a Halloween meal!
Daddy and Lily made a Halloween dip dessert! Notice eyeballs in it too! :)

It may be gross looking...but oh so delicious! ha! :)

The crew in full competition mode! This is the very first year that Alexis and Lily, both, completely did their pumpkins by themselves!

Daddy started helping and getting the pumpkin ready for Lily....until she said...NOPE...she wanted to do it all by herself! And then she did! :)

Showing off what they carved!

They were all so good!

Alexis is super proud of hers...especially, she said, the mouth and 'how neat' hers was! :)
Lily worked super hard on hers! She was a busy bee! She even added a special touch with using toothpicks and making her pumpkin's tongue stick out! She received first place too!
Love our porch with all the pumpkins!
