I had a total flash forward as I saw these two racing this game. It made me picture them being older and cruising down the road together! My goodness, it will be here before I know it!!
And total Alexis being Alexis! She requested to have the salad bar!................ so, she goes and gets a great looking GOOD salad. Well....she literally eats two bites of the salad and I see her over at the salad bar again. She comes back with a bowl FULL of eggs! Yep, only her.....instead of eating her salad, she wolfed down a bowl of eggs!!!
Day 90
This silly girl said that she needed to wear my 'horsey boots' since she had her horse shirt on! :) She cracks me up everyday!!!!

Epic, Palm weekend!

Well, Spring break is officially over!

Back to the real world tomorrow! It has been so nice to be off this past week!

We have had a beautiful but COLD weekend to end our Spring break week. {Which has not been fun!} I dont know why Spring has decided to leave, but it can come back ANYTIME!!

We didnt do much Saturday except hang out around the house since it was sooo cold! We decided to have a really late lunch/early dinner at Cracker Barrel! So, we ran some errands and ate some GOOD food! :)
Daddy was being a mess! Every time I tried to get a picture of Lex, he kept putting something in front of her face! :) :)
Alexis finally caught on to his tricks and out tricked him and I was able to snap a picture!!
Lily was too intense working on the game during it all! :)
After our meal and errands, we ended the night with yogurt! YUM! {Yes, even with it freezing outside!} We live on the 'wild' side! :)
Today marked Palm Sunday! The Sunday before Easter! The girls carried down the palm leaves to begin the service!!
Lily dropped hers and it seemed like a billion years before she finally picked it up and continued down the aisle!
She finally made it to the front! :) :)
Then some of the kids did a song performance! Lily pretty much sat there and turned around and stared at the rest of the crew! :)
After Church and lunch, Tyler convinced me to go Turkey hunting with him! I thought I looked pretty great in my camo attire!.................
Until Tyler had to go and stick this beanie on top of my head! :) He said that my head is too 'bright' and would distract and scare the turkies!
It was a TOTAL EPIC fail today with the hunting! :(     Tyler called up a HUGE turkey for me.................and it was RIGHT there in front of me! IT was HUGE....and RIGHT there, and well, I missed!...............
Yep, missed.....................
OOhhhh......................talk about a dagger in my heart!!!.........................
Tyler did say that even though I missed, that I am going to have to start going with him more! {He loves me, and hasnt given up on me!}...............................yet! :)

You cant see me but ooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I see you! :) :)

Spring Break...Part 2!

Well, Spring break is drawing an end.  :(

We have rounded out the 'work' week of Spring break today.

We have had a low key end of the week which has been nice. I checked off all of my 'to do's' such as getting taxes done, haircuts, grocery shopping, etc...so that has been great!

I hate that when you are off time just flies! :(

Wednesday was our first full day back home so we didnt do much. I had a haircut appointment so these two went with me. Boy, that was an experience! They have never been in a salon before and especially Lily was asking 10,000 questions during the whole process! She just couldnt understand why Mrs. Sarah was 'painting' my hair! :) :)
We enjoyed lunch outside at Sonic after I got my hair done!
We came home and spent the rest of the afternoon and night just relaxing and playing. I went in to check on Alexis while Lily was already taking a nap and found this! She had made a pallet on the floor for her dolls and herself! She was passed out! I caught up on laundry and cleaning while she did this! :)
Thursday we went to see the Easter Bunny! Let me just say, Alexis and Lily were not too thrilled to meet him!.....
Alexis told me after we left that she knows that the Easter Bunny is not real. I explained to her that of course not that no bunny can walk upright and be real when it is 'stuffed' looking! :)
Then she explained to me that she understood that the Easter Bunny is nothing like Jesus and Santa Claus!..................
And after the Easter Bunny, we saw Cinderella! It was a great great movie! I was worried that it wouldnt keep their attention because it is not animated, but they LOVED it!
Lily talked and asked 10,000 questions during the entire movie because she was SO in to it! :)

We talked about the movie after it was over and I love the part in it where Cinderella's mother told her to always have courage and be kind before she died due to her being sick. That part really hit home with the girls and today Lily even reminded Alexis that she needed to be like Cinderella and be kind when Alexis stole her book! :)
After our fun movie day, we headed to Thursday ballet classes!! This chick was ready for class!!
And this chick's costume came in! Is she not a doll in it! She was over the moon excited that she got to try it on!! Her smile was worth 10 million dollars!!
My little beautiful ballerina!!
Lily's little friends wanted to all get a picture!! :) :) :)
FRIDAY already!?!? Where has our week gone! Boy, time does fly when you are having fun!! We had a low key morning and after work Nan came to get the girls and they are seeing the movie Home right now! Yes, these two had two movie days in a row! {Talk about special!!} :) :)
Pretty in white!!

Spppprrriiiing Brrreeeak!! Part 1!

Aaahhh.....it is SPRING BREAK!

SO nice to have Spring break now and to get to enjoy it with my little family! {So thankful!!}

We started out pretty low key and then yesterday we left with the Grogans' and headed to Atlanta for a fun little trip!

We started out at the Georgia Aquarium and then spent the night at the Embassy Suites and rounded out the trip by heading to LegoLand!

We are all worn out today now that we are back at home! :)

Cant wait to see what the rest of Spring break week has for us!

We did a little of this and a little of that at the beginning of the break that consisted of Church and dressing as a princess!...
See...a princess....  :) :) :)
And then came Monday!! We made it to the Georgia Aquarium!
Loved watching the penguins!! Soooo cute!
The little girl cracks me up! She had her leg crossed the whole time as she watched the giant white sea lion!!
This was really cool.  We walked under this huge under water area full of HUGE creatures swimming over us! Do you see that shadow!! eekk!! I can not imagine being in the ocean and seeing some of the things I saw swim by me! I would die!!
This picture does not even do the size of that thing justice! This was sooo big!!
This was one of mine and Alexis' favorites! Look down at the ground/sand area of the picture. There were TONS of these little 'worms' They actually were little sand eels! They were SO neat! They were stripped and polka dotted! They would stick their heads out from the sand and as soon as a fish would come by, they would dart back under the sand. Then a few seconds later, they would come back up again! It was so neat to see!
They loved this area!! They saw a TON of 'Dori's' {From Finding Nemo!} :)
My girls! We were just about to watch the Dolphin show! That was so neat to see all the tricks that the Dolphins did! {And...oh me, Alexis Kayte!!!} :)
The girls loved seeing this octopus! It was neat to watch move! They carried around an IPAD and learned different things. They were in Heaven to have an IPAD too!
And...now time to eat! We enjoyed some yummy mexican at Chuys and the beautiful weather outside!
And...time to sleep! These three were so excited to have a bed to themself!!
Ready for round two on the second day! :) We had a nice waterfall area in our hotel and the girls loved watching the water come down as we ate breakfast!
We are here!!...at LegoLand!!
So cute! :)
They rode this ride several times!
There was an amazing area of a ton of things, places, etc made out of legos!!
There was an entire area of Atlanta made out of legos! It was so neat! There were streets and redlights...and cars, etc!
There was the Braves stadium too!
It was so cool to see it all in legos! The little people and all!
We were the first people in the main area! The kids had a blast running around and playing!
Everything was made out of legos! This lego girl was really cute!
They even had a karaoke area! These two were having so much fun singing!
This little ride was really fun too! They loved 'flying' in the air!
And making towers!!
