Life lately!

Life lately has consisted of the normal groove with RAIN mixed in!

YEP!!!

RAIN!

We have not had a substantial rain amount in months and months so for it to rain two big times in one week.............. has been historic!

To see everything starting to die and dry up and all of the wild fires destroying everything....

it was a relief to see rain and have hope that it is helping!

It is starting to get a little colder too so it is actually starting to feel like Fall/Winter-ish! :)

Ella Jingle is getting in the groove of getting used to be with us! She is up to 'no good' these days too! I also am VERY thankful that I wake up before the girls do..........and the fact that my brain starts running and rolling while in the shower because ALREADY I am struggling on remembering her! OH ME!.............I still have a lot of days left of doing that elf! :)

Lily is still into doing her own hair. In fact, tonight at Church.....she had it fixed with {20} clips in it along with two pig tails. Everyone complimented her on her very on 'hair-do!' She ate it up! :)

Alexis is still into wearing a 'bow bow' like JoJo too! :)

At Church lately....the girls and their friends have been practicing for their performance for the Christmas program that they are going to do! Cant wait for it!

And....EPIC rain boot fail!!!! So, it rained really really good Monday night................
so I decided to wear my rain boots to work Tuesday since it would be 'wet' outside and there was a chance of rain for yesterday too.
Well, should have worn them today. There was NO rain Tuesday and it flooded today when, of course,  I had to go to Wal-Mart!! Would have been smarter to wear  them on the day it actually rained! :)

And tonight.....this group practiced Christmas carols because they are going caroling in a couple of weeks! :)
They also learned about what happened to the dinosaurs. It was really awesome to hear about them and what the Bible says about how they were destroyed with the great flood and then because of the ice age the ones that were left because of the ones on Noah's Ark....died leaving them then extinct! The kids watched a demonstration of the volcanoes and how they helped cause the great flood come when God told Noah that there would be a flood. The kids thought it was super cool to learn about and see all of it!

Wordless Wednesday!

She finally came!

Guess who finally decided to make it officially time to visit and check-up on the Law girls?!?!?

Ella Jingle!

Today is day 1.........

and her first report back to Santa tonight....

is looking a little on the naughty side....for both of them! :)

Yesterday we enjoyed being at home and gearing up for school and work starting back tomorrow. The girls and I were all decked out in our Auburn gear since it was Iron Bowl Saturday!
They had their game faces ready!!
Two Auburn cheerleaders ready to cheer Auburn on! We had Gran, Ben and Andrew over to watch the game and it stinks Auburn didnt win and I had that many Bama fans in my house! :) We all headed to Struts to eat dinner before they left since the game was pretty much a for sure shot that Bama had won. Boo! :)
And this morning.................Ella Jingle came! WHOOO HOOO! She will help me keep two crazy girls in line! {I hope!}
Lily was the first one to spot her! She came running in my room saying Ella Jingle dropped a lot of stuff on the floor! ha! I told her to not touch any of it until Alexis woke up! :)
Finally little Miss Sunshine decided to wake up and she was SOOOO excited! Alexis has been asking me for over a week when Ella Jingle was going to come! {Like I am supposed to know when she decides to come and leave the North Pole!} :)
Ella Jingle left a note to the girls!!.....with exact instructions to behave and be nice to each other! :)
Alexis read the note to Lily! :)
Then we got all cleaned up and headed to Church! We had a great lunch at Baja and a quick trip to Wal-Mart before calling it a day! We have relaxed at home and I have wrapped some Christmas gifts too! And..............tomorrow, back to the real world! :)
My two Church girls! :)

Callaway day trip!

We had a great little trip to Callaway yesterday with Gran, Ben and Andrew.

It was the most beautiful weathered day to get out and enjoy some sight seeing, shopping, seeing Callaway and then seeing the 8 million.....yes!!....I said 8 million Christmas lights!

It was beautiful!

Our little family of 4 ready to see the butterflies!
Andrew and the girls!
Gran and the girls!
Meet this guy! So, funny story. As we were entering the butterfly house, everyone coming out was saying...'That is SO cool that a famous person is here and he stars in The Walking Dead!' Well, as soon as I heard that....I knew I had to find this person because I know how obsessed Meg and Mal are with that show. I have never seen one episode. So, I didnt see the person because he had already walked out and into the gift shop so I told Andrew if he knew who they were talking about so Andrew pointed to him. He was just standing over in the gift shop....like a normal person...just standing there....no one was standing in line to take a picture of him or anything. So, Andrew says...'That's him'...............so me not having a clue who he is...walked over to him. He was so nice and so 'normal' and so I asked him if I could take a picture with him! He smiled a shy smile and said sure! So we did!
Sooo....as Andrew and I were heading back to the butterfly house, Andrew goes 'Yeah...that wasnt him, that was just some random guy that you got a picture with!' I ABOUT DIED! Andrew started dying laughing.....and I believed him and was soooo embarrassed that I had just asked some random person to take a picture with me and that I was sure that he thought I was an idiot! Well, Andrew let me believe this for a little bit and then told me that it actually was Carl from the Walking Dead!
So, I texted Meg and Mal the picture and they about died!!!!
They were soooo super jealous and was begging me to go back and talk to him more and Meg sent me a picture of her as him for Halloween and wanted me to show him! ha!
Well, I did go back and he had already left! Mal said that he got accepted to Auburn and will be starting Auburn in the Spring! I thought that was super cool when I found that out!
I am ALLLL about meeting famous people.....STARS!....but talk about super awkward if you dont know who they are and are unsure you wont be arrested for asking strange people to take a picture with you! :)
The Butterfly house was beautiful! The girls loved seeing the TONS of butterflies flying around everywhere!
Look at all of them flying around her in the back!
Checking them all out!
She stood there forever trying to get one to land on her finger! :)
And...one never did! But....one stayed on Lily's head for awhile....and she never even knew it! :)
They were so pretty and there were so many different colors, etc. I couldnt stay in there long though because it was soooooooooo HOT in there! I couldnt get over how warm it was! I was sweating like a pig! {It doesnt take much for me to sweat like a pig though!} :)
Callaway had beautiful Christmas decorations! It was a perfect day trip to kick off Christmas!
This poinsettia tree was huge!
It was beautiful out there!
We watched the birds of prey show! Super fun!

Tyler took this awesome picture! The birds flew sooooo close to our heads!
Pine Mountain was right down from Callaway and it was the cutest little town. They had cute shops so we walked around and enjoyed the afternoon! I love old beautiful towns like this!
Then it was time for the Callaway in Lights! They had a little Christmas Village with local vendors that we walked around and shopped at while waiting for us to see the lights.
There were a ton of Christmas decorations everywhere!
Then we rode through the lights! They were sooooo pretty! There was music playing for each theme and it was all just beautiful!

This was my favorite by far! They played 'walking in a winter wonderland' while we drove through this. It was a TON of white flickering lights everywhere. It was just beautiful and by far my favorite! Right after this were a ton of snowflakes too. So pretty! My next favorite was the 12 days of Christmas! They had each day with what the 'true love' gave and played the song! Loved it!
They had a beautiful fountain in lights and then this over the water! I loved that too because all the lights reflected off the water!
We ended up not spending the night because we were done by 7:30 Georgia time and it wasnt a bad drive at all so we were back home by 8:30. Just in time for the girls to hit the bed! :)
Perfection! :)

Turkey Day 2016!

WOW!!

Is all I can say! I ate SOOOO much yesterday that I really didnt even feel like eating today!

It sure was gooood though!

Sooooo.....you know how I said that we got Tickles a new bed and I hoped she likes it?!?! Well...she does! She curls up in it all day it seems like! She looks so cozy in it! :)
Round 1 of Turkey Day!
We were pretty low key Turkey Day morning. We woke up and had breakfast and enjoyed the Macy's  Thanksgiving Parade! This year's parade marked Macy's 90th anniversary. Lily cracked me up because for the rest of the day she kept telling everyone that it was Macy's birthday today and she is older than Nannie! :) :) hahaha! :)
I feel like I have a 'straight out of the 80's' girl and a Minnie Mouse 'wanna-b' on my hands!
Alexis is STILL into this 'JoJo with a Bow-bow' chick and dressing like her! :) I have started calling Alexis....'A, A...with a B, B'  ....well, she doesnt like my new nickname for her! :)
Lily is still into doing her own hair too! :)
She is too grown! I can NOT get over her 'kick' of wanting to wear hair bows again. You have NO idea what it was like until her 7th birthday when she finally got her way to NEVER wear a bow again! OH me! :)
Part 1 of Turkey Day! Ladies hung out in the kitchen.................. with Kitchen duty! {Pawpaw was only in there for a minute to make coffee!} :)
And....see, guy talk...and  coffee.....far away from the kitchen clean up! :)
Nan has sooooo many beautiful trees in her house! I love taking pictures by them all! :)
Then...Part 2! Whew....it was hard to eat again! :)
Another view for Part 2. :) Meg cracks me UP!!...........she is holding pots and pans that Nannie brought her. She is moving into a new apartment so Nannie brought her the pots and pans that she was planning on giving Meg when she gets married. Nannie thought Meg should go ahead and get them since she is moving! haha! :) I think Nannie has a stock pile of all kinds of things........
So, Meg now has her pots and pans and she doesnt have to wait! :)
This sassy pants seemed to be up to something! I mean LOOK at the look on her face!.....
So, I went in!.............and yep, these three were getting into Pam's closets and getting out her already wrapped Christmas gifts and trying to figure out if they were for them! :)
Love this chick! Missed Mal! I am SO proud of her for the job she does to help sweet little sick kids and babies during the Holidays!!
And, grabbed a picture with this dude too! :)
We had a full day of family on both sides and FOOD! Couldnt be more blessed and thankful on Thanksgiving Day!

New traditions, meet Nannie JR and my views!

Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am so very thankful for my family and friends and I hope you all have a wonderful day! I will post tomorrow what all we do on this day of thanks!

But first!............yesterday! :)
We did something different this year by meeting Gran and Ben at Cracker Barrel for dinner for our Thanksgiving with them instead of having to cook and clean!

I love Cracker Barrel and hadnt eaten there in awhile so it was perfect and delicious! We headed back to their house for a little while before calling it a night!

Before we met them to eat, we did some shopping and we let the girls enjoy the Factory too! BOY do they love that place!.....and we love that it is half priced on Wednesdays! SCORE for us all! :)

This little sassy thing was ready to get her shop on! Two buggies and ready to go! :)
Love my view I had as we walked down the sidewalk! They can be very sweet to each other sometimes...and this is proof! :)
They were so excited to get balloons at Old Navy. They were hitting them like crazy everywhere! We, of course, had to go and check out the fish and animals at Petco!
And........the highlight!.........Look at how excited Lily is! ha! {I didnt tell her to do that when I took the picture!} :)
After The Factory, we headed to meet Gran and Ben.
Meet Nannie JR. She was ready for a night out on the town! ha!
My view as we waited on Gran and Ben to get there. Lily cracks me up!
I have the FUNNIEST story to share.
So, when we were on our way home....Alexis starts telling Lily that she didnt press the #2 button on Gran's toilet so her poop didnt flush so Alexis said she flushed it for her.
Tyler and I are hearing this and are like....................WHAT is she talking about??? So, I asked her and she proceeds to tell us that Gran has a #1 and a #2 button on her toilet and if you dont press #1 when you pee pee that it wont flush and if you dont press #2 when you poop....that it wont flush. And that Lily didnt press the #2 button so that is why it didnt go down. {Well, Lily actually just didnt flush because she didnt know how because she couldnt find the handle...so she just didnt do anything. Alexis didnt think that way though. She thought she didnt press the correct button!}
Well, Tyler and I got to thinking about it and we neither one had ever paid much attention to what is written on the buttons but there are actually two buttons on the top of their toilet. I just always press one of them and it flushes {and so does Tyler} so we dont ever think about it.
So, I call Gran and she explains that the first button is for just pee really because it doesnt use as much water and the 2nd button does use more water for 'bigger' situations.
We were DYING laughing the rest of the way home because Alexis was convinced that if you dont press the correct button........that whatever you just did wont go down! hahaha!
Then Tyler says there should be a 3rd button. The 3rd button should be the 'skidgetter' button where it just keeps swirling to make the skids go away! OH me............you just had to be there during all of this conversation! It was sooooooo funny!!
