Nailed it with the cutest!

Circa- 2013 when Alexis was her favorite book character, Fancy Nancy!
Talk about 'nailing' it! She was perfect as Fancy Nancy!

NO doubt....nailed this! She even acts like her!

The book that was her most favorite that we got inspiration from! ha!

And now, Lily! Circa-2019 as her favorite book character, Junie B. Jones!
NAILED this one too! She loooveees June B. and just like Alexis, acts like Junie too! :)

And, I pulled from this doll picture since Junie B wears a white collar under most of her outfits and wears her glasses alot!
I just LOVE how both my girls looked so cute as both their favorites!

This week was read across America week and so it was a fun dress up week for the girls!

Well, except Alexis!

She is now, officially, toooo grown to do these dress up days!

So, it was just Lily!

Monday was 'Wear your favorite animal print' day! OF course....she wore a giraffe! She LOVES this animal! :)

Tuesday was 'Wear red and blue' day. {One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish day!} :)
Sooo....she wore her 'blue' jeans and her red pullover! They also got to bring a stuffed animal on this day too!

Wednesday was PJ day and bring their favorite book! She was pumped about this day!

AND...today was 'Dress as your favorite book character' day!
Is she not the cutest Junie B. Jones EVER! OH..we nailed it with this one! :)

Tomorrow is Friday and she is planning on wearing a Dr. Seuss t-shirt as it is his birthday tomorrow!
And..she came home this afternoon with her BLUE Eagle! SUPER proud of her! She was pretty excited about it too! Cant wait for her to make the next benchmark of Gold Eagle! :)

yesterday I was slammed and then between dinner, Church and just getting ready for the next day, I didnt make it to post!

OH Snapchat! I got a new haircut so I put a Snapchat filter on to show it off!

Then...I told Tyler to 'look' and I got him! He has no idea how it works so when he turned around...the filter popped up! haha!

Then, he turned around to see what I was doing...and I got him again! ha! It cracks me up!

Whew....

rock climbing is NOT easy! Let me repeat it! Whew!

I have never rock climbed until today.....and, let me just say, from now on.....I'll just watch everyone else!

To this one....it was a piece of cake! She made it to the top on every side she tried today! She rocked it! {Get it!} :) :)

SEEEEE.....allllll the way up!

This one rock climbed for the first time here loved it! It was a little hard for her so she didnt get all the way to the top but she got pretty far!

Yep....I tried! Right about the time Tyler snapped this picture....I called it quits! ha!

And...right about the time I snapped this one...he did too!

Then these two enjoyed the pool before Tyler and I worked out some and hit the basketball court! It was a fun family afternoon!

A laid back Saturday night!

So, we had no plans...

we celebrated that we have actually seen the sun since we have not in the last 4 days...

and after dance pictures and Abby's party, we headed to the JSU basketball game since their season is winding down!

Low key, yet full of fun day!

Such a fun party! Lily had a blast! Daddy and Lex were doing dance pictures...then Daddy came home and went shooting with Pawpaw while us girls relaxed and hit the JSU game!

This crew.... 'hanging' out during the game! Lily ended up at Madelyn's house after the game and then also after we all ate dinner. So....as I type this....Tyler and I are 'home alone!' bahaha!

And...this crew too! Carli is in the picture too! They all ended up at Willa Kates house after the game spending the night!

What we've been up to!?!

THIS cracks me up! This is what we have been up to.....

RAIN

RAIN

and....MORE rain! Ughh!!! Im sooooo over the rain! It is like we have not been able to catch a break for MONTHS! We get teased with a couple of days with beautiful weather and then it is BACK!

I am loving!...loving the new REC center! Oh, sometimes I just dont have the motivation to change clothes and get myself over....but when Im done, I look back and think, Im glad I did, it was worth it and I feel good!
This row machine is one of my favorites! So glad I can do this on my lunch break and thankful I can!

Lex had her gum procedure and she is hanging in there. She hasnt had too much pain but it has been real sensitive and easily starts to bleed. Im ready for it to be healed for her....and ready to get the test results back as well. She has been a trooper through it all so far!!

Wordless Wednesday!

It's simple!

It amazes me how simple and small respectful gestures are just gone it seems! I have some students who are about to be out in the 'real world' that just blow me away with their behavior towards others, etc.

It makes me sad! I preach, daily, for my girls to have respect and just be kind. It is simple. Easy. I just dont understand why it is so hard for some people. 

What rain....??

Alexis had so much fun! Lily's Daddy....is in the process of buying her rock climbing shoes as I type this because the REC Center didnt have shoes her size. She was super bummed so next time, she'll have her own pair to climb this high wall! LOOK out wall! :) :)
