Haunted forest and allll the Fall festivals!

We have been soaking up alll the Halloween fun!

We LOVE Halloween week!

Tyler says Halloween is my favorite holiday.....

I have to say...

it is close!

Tyler has been wanting to try out the Haunted Forest in Jacksonville for a long time now as one of his employees runs it with their family. We have had it planned {weather permitting} to go with the Mobb's family! So, Monday night we MADE it! We tried out the new restaurant Calhoun's and then hit the forest!
Dinner was good. Im glad we tried it out as we have been waiting since it opened! It has just been sooo crowded that we didnt want to even try!

Then the Haunted forest was fun! It was just a family who loves Halloween that put it on so it really wasnt that scary but it was a good memory maker....and a chance for the girls to do something since they have been wanting to do a haunted house, etc!
Picture before we were allll toooo scared to take one before we went in! I am not sure WHAT happened in this picture.....BUT where is MY face!?! It looks like I only have eyes on my face! ha! It is the strangest thing to me!
Fall Festival fun with Pearson!
Me and my girl! Tyler and Alexis stayed home for this because Alexis has just SO much homework...even with it being the week of Halloween! 3 IXL's, a paper, a poem and 2 tests so far this week! A big BOO! So Lily and I had girl time with a quick dinner and then we hit the festivals!
Allll the friends!
Allll the trunks! So fun!
There were a ton of really cute and creative trunks! This is Ashley's! She did a Chic-fila trunk..of course!
We love our Miss Brittany and her trunk was super cute! We found these two 'big girls' so we grabbed a picture as they were asking me where Alexis was!
Then we ran home...and Lily actually changed into her 'real' costume and we grabbed Alexis and headed to JSU. We always love this event and this year they changed locations and made it so much bigger! It was a perfection of a night and we had so much fun!
Allll the games!...and allll the candy!
Two cute pies!
Poor Reese...my flash was too bright for her when I took the picture! ha!
Two of the crayons!
Lily loved playing all the games!
I love the color crayon she chose!
We love JSU!
This is my most favorite picture! I love allll these sweet kiddos like they are my own! And....BIG bonus...most all of them are smiling and looking at me! SCORE! :)

Fall Festival!

We had our Fall Festival today and thank goodness it didnt rain!

We are ready to KICK off Halloween week! Whoop whoop!

Decked out and ready for Church this morning!
After lunch we did some treat fun!
Hmmm....not going to lie...not sure on this one! hahaha! Caramel nut grapes! Ughh...why does it have to be so hard when it comes to melting caramel...or chocolate...etc......not my favorite! I'll stick to cooking 'real' food like a lasagna and let other people do treats and pies, etc! :)
Fall Festival time! I didnt want them to wear their actual Halloween costumes so they wouldnt mess them up so this is what they both came up with!
A 'dead fairy' and a pumpkin!!
She did her face all by herself....and then complained about it the.entire.time.we.were.at.the.Festival. Oh my goodness she drove me bananas! She did a great job on it and it was super cute. BUT...never again am I going to let her paint her face! :)
She asked me why I put 'pink' on the side of her eyes. OH..this cracked me up! I told her that's how fairies do their make-up!
This crew was with me! They had so much fun and racked up on the candy!
Love all these kiddos!
MC and Lily are the sweetest!
Treat time!
Sporkie!.....or is it Sporky!? ha! Whatever it is...we love the little boy behind the costume! Thompson and Lily!
Lily vs Lily! OH...everyone was laughing soooo hard watching this! Im sure you can guess which Lily won! ha!
THIS was hilarious!
Sooo....Alexis tried her hand at this! THIS cracks me up just thinking about it! She hit it and look at her looking up like it actually went all the way to the top! {See the blue 'dot'.........yeah that is as high as it went!} :)
We had the best time! We came home and geared up for Halloween week!!

Our weekend so far!

So far...this weekend has been full of pj pants, cozy socks, comfy blankets, Halloween crafting, buffalo chicken dip, movies and football!

Ahhhh.....

so wonderful!

Lily came home from school yesterday SUPER excited that she won the coloring contest at the Community Center! She won a full bag of candy....and insisted she get to eat the entire bag because she won! :)
We watch 2 rounds of the JSU volleyball game before heading home to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at home before bed time! They won one and lost one when we decided to leave. It was a great game...and we always love watching JSU play!
This morning...these two made ghosts!
Super cute! I saw this craft on Pinterest and thought it was so fun so they had fun doing that! I put tea lights as noses...that light up! :)
We cant wait to see them all lit up tonight! They loved doing this!
And now! My current situation....THIS! The girls are watching The Adam's Family {as I type this} and we are gearing UP for the Auburn vs LSU game! Warrrrr Eagle! Here we GO...HERE we GO!

My 1st 5K!

I crushed the Gamecock Gallop 5K yesterday and I have to say...Im super proud of myself!

Part of our school has an annual 5K so this year, I thought I would give it a whirl!

Due to the rain that was expected for today {that ended up not even coming} they decided to let people register to do it virtually!

So, I downloaded my app....and hit the REC center to conquer it!

I was nervous but it wasnt as bad as I had it being in my head!

Super excited to say I did my 1st 5K!

We finished! Whew! :)
Showing off our new t-shirts since we made it though the 5K!
I crushed my 1st Gamecock Gallop 5K!
I have to say...I enjoy running...walking...so this may start something for me! Time will tell!

A BOO kind of Thursday night lights!

It was a grand idea to move the high school football game to Thursday night instead of today!

For today...already it is raining like cats and dogs!

So, last night was perfect Fall weather! I brought jackets and blankets and scarves thinking I was going to freeze to death at the game but, instead, I didnt have to even put my jacket on!

We had an awesome dinner with the Messer's, Soriano's, Fritts and Christopher's at Cooter Browns before the game. So much so that we were late getting to the game but only by a little bit so we werent worried about it!

It was a fun football under the Thursday night lights!

My Thursday lunch looked like this! Whew...it kicked my booty but in a good way and glad I survived the class!
Then....look at this sunset! This picture has NO filter! Orange and Blue {War Eagle baby!} So beautiful!
This is the only picture I got of any kids and really of the whole game! Lily was not cooperating and Camille has her eyes closed! ha! OH well! At dinner...us adults were out numbered! There were 11 kids and only 9 of us! Whew! :)
The Eagles won against Hokes Bluff! It was a great game! When we got home, we had been 'BOO' D' too! Lily said that the 'big' one was hers....because she got scared since Mrs. Kristi jumped out at her the other night! ha! Mrs. Kristi, Collins and Jack did us and yes....the big bucket was for her Mrs. Kristi said! :)
My pictures went out of order and would not let me change them out so...this picture was before Lily busted into hers to check out her goodies! They were so excited to see their treats once we got home from the game!

A little BOO to you!

A look into life lately!

We have been in the same routine of school, homework, tests, gymnastics, dance, church, cheer and repeat....just mixed with trying to stay warm!

My goodness this cold snap needs to pass!

I just dont get how we can go from 90's to 40's so quickly!

Lily has been wearing some of her Halloween cuteness this week since it is the week before!

Alexis is just TOO grown, now, to want to dress in fun Halloween attire! I do realize I {maybe} have a year left until Lily no longer wants to either. BOO! :(

A leopard witch for Monday!
Lily was in her purple and green that matched the mantle on Tuesday before school and dance on this day!
And tonight!..after school, gymnastics and church...the girls 'BOO' D' Ryker, Ridge and Collins and Jack! We started this tradition last year and the girls LOVE it! So, we loaded up....I slowly pulled up to each house..and they took off and each had a house. They ran, quickly, up the porch...rang the doorbell, threw the gift down and took off! :) :)
READY to go BOO!
FUNNY...thing....so I texted Mrs. Kristi {Collins and Jack's Mom} that Lily was coming and to hide and scare her when she ran up!
OH....I wish I would have videoed it! Lily took off out of my car....ran really really fast up to their porch. Right when she rang the door bell and was about to take off back to the car....Kristi jumped out and scared the MESS out of her! She screamed SO loud! It was absolutely hilarious!
Lily didnt think it was funny once Kristi busted me and Lily found out I put Kristi up to it! :) FUN memory for sure! :)
