We are hitting Spring break with a bang!

I have been ready for this coming week for awhile now and it is finally here! I hope it doesnt fly by, but like most things....time does fly when you have fun!

We kicked off the beginning of spring break by having Alexis' ballet pictures today!

My goodness how time has flown and Alexis is in her 4th year of dancing already! goodness goodness!!

We have alot of fun things coming up this week so we are for sure going to make the most of the week off!

I hope to get alot done this week too such as getting my hair cut and highlighted {#1 on my list!} :) :) Getting taxes done....you know...fun things like that!

Nothing makes a Monday brighter than seeing this smiling/silly face in the morning!

The time change kicked our tail this week! It is hard to get up in the mornings with it still pitch black outside! IT IS HARD! :) These two little ones were beat by only Tuesday! They were in bed early watching movies and both passed out!

Wednesday folder/help day! I snuck up on this girl while she was working hard! :)

Day 71
Date night...actually Exchange Club 'Book of Golden Deeds' banquet! We had a great time with a very nice dinner followed by the JSU Quartet performance!

It is FRIDAY! It is FRIDAY! Whoo hoo!! :) {This is Alexis' happy dance move!} :) :) And below that is Lily's!! :) :)

Day 73
Ahhh...soooo nice!! The girls were gone with Gran and Aunt Pam for the weekend so Tyler and I enjoyed the beautiful weekend by having lunch, movies, and working in the yard with new plants! LOVE!!

Day 74
Checking Alexis' book bag as I am gearing up for Monday and look what I came across! SOOO proud of my smart little cookie! She is still  on the 'A' Honor Roll!!

And her report card is in! She is almost done with her 1st grade year! {Insert tears here!!} She has done SOOO well in 1st grade!!!

Day 75
Monday Monday! While being in the dead middle of CCNE Accreditation week.....we throw in a 'Cardiac/Renal' Fashion show! {Dont ask me what I modeled because I have no clue! I could not even pronounce it! I tell ya...I need to be a RN to even understand what I do half the time at work!} :) :)

I LOVE Tulips!! LOVE them! I picked these babies up the weekend before and I am still enjoying them several days later!!

How would you catch a leprechaun!?!?

Today is St. Patrick's Day!

Alexis was SO excited about wondering what the leprechaun was going to do today!

She said she remembered last year that the leprechaun was SO CRAZY and he messed up the room SO bad and she just could not believe what all he had done!

She was so excited when she came home to tell me that he messed up Ms. Harper's room this year but this leprechaun must have found his pot of gold because he left the whole class some chocolate candies!!

The girls had to have on their green today of course! :) {Lily is trying to smile despite being grumpy that she wasnt wearing 'sparkaly' shoes} :)

 How would you catch a leprechaun?
If you were Alexis.... you would 'make a trap for him and get him' {She was frustrated because she spelled 'him' correctly the first time but not the second time she wrote it. She didnt realize the other words that she spelled wrong.} :)

 Ahhh...today was SO nice! We actually cut our air on today! Today marked the first day of us doing that in months!! Ahhh!!....sooo nice! Tyler  had to cut it off later on though because it started getting cold! We are at least almost there to have the air on full time!....

What do you do on a perfect day when you get home from school?!?! Play outside and soak up the beautiful weather!!

And then come in and eat a yummy meal, grab a bath and head to bed! Alexis said we had to have cabbage because that is leprechaun's favorite food! I guess that is why everyone eats corn-beef and cabbage on St. Patty's Day?!

Today was the 6 month mark for the girls to have the height measured and placed on the 'wall of fame!' :)

I cant believe how much they have grown in just 6 months!!

This munchkin would NOT be still for Daddy to measure her! {That is why the picture is sooo blurry!} :)

Look how much she has grown! She has grown a good bit more than Alexis has in the same time frame!! :)

Day 61
 I LOVE my built in shelves with sweet sweet pictures of my little family! I love this highlight everyday which is that from my chair, I can look over and see all of these sweet memories! It makes me smile to look at them all and watch the electronic frame too! Aubie cracks me up because he loves to try and get the electronic frame! He can not wrap his head around the fact that it moves and the colors change and that he cant reach it! He will sit on the top cushions and just stare and it and makes this little noise like "I really want to get that!" :) :)

Day 62
Tuesday work meeting in Georgia! It is nice to get to 'dress fancy' per Alexis and be treated like royalty during business meetings! It is fun! It is also fun to hit some local shops on the way home too! :) 

Day 63
To my VERY surprise, when I walked in my office the next day.....it was completely covered and decorated for my birthday! My coworkers had a field day in my office since I was gone the day before by deciding to decorate my office a month early to celebrate my birthday! {This is what I have to work with!} :) It was super sweet and totally surprised me!!

This was just SOME of what they did in my office! I literally had to do the 'limbo' to get to my desk! They had streamers galore, confetti, and signs every where!!

Day 64
Talk about going into crazy mode when you wake up and find out right then that school is cancelled!  So, once I found out JSU was closing early too....Alexis and I had fun making eggs!!

Day 65

So love to see these two faces happy! They had a great time at the Father~Daughter dance!!

Such a beautiful day! Love seeing the girls soaking it up!!

Day 67

Brandi and Alexis making a big decision on what type of ice cream to get!! Today was a great day! The TIME changed! Whoo hoo! I love the time change because that means warmth and sunny spring and summer days are coming!!

 Lily loved picking out her sherbert since she cant eat ice cream! She topped it off with sprinkles!! Solid Rock in Piedmont is SO good!

Alexis chose sherbert too! YUM! :)

Ohhh....that smell and those lips!.....

We have had an absolute.perfect.day. here at the Law home!

We have had the most beautiful day that we have had in months!

It was an absolutely beautiful warm and sunny day!

We made the most we could of today without a doubt!

Sara Kate came over to our house and us girls went shopping for a little while since Daddy enjoyed the day doing some turkey hunting even though he didnt see any. After that the girls played outside, watched movies and played with their American girl dolls the rest of the afternoon!

We ended the perfect day with grilled out hamburgers and catching up on American Idol episodes! :) :)

The girls played for an hour at Burger King! They were having a great time climbing through the 'mazes' and down the slides!!

Silly girls!

I had to get some new lipstick......so they decided to do some shopping while I made my purchase! Sara Kate found a 'real pearl' necklace that she wanted sooooo badly! She had $20.00 so because she had that, she thought she could buy the necklace! I had to inform her that the necklace was WAY more than $20.00! :)

Since I bought some new lipstick....these two thought they needed 'women's' lipstick {per them} soooo, I took them to Wal~mart and they picked out 'real women's lipstick' OH ME! I texted Alison that I may be in trouble by her when she sees the lipstick choice of Sara Kate! :) They were in Heaven with their choices!

While Lily napped, these two enjoyed eating popsicles and jumping on the trampoline since it was such a beautiful day!

OOOHHHH....that smell of grilling out!! OH how I love that smell!! Nothing could have topped this day off better than smelling the grill smell and enjoying a great grilled hamburger!!

And to wind down on this perfect day! American Idol catch up!! This family of mine takes American Idol very seriously! Cant you tell!!!!

Dancing with Daddy!

Tonight marked the second Daddy~Daughter dance for Tyler and Alexis!

They had a TON of fun last year and Alexis was just beyond excited this year for it again!

I love that they have this special time together!

Lily and I had fun at home which consisted of the cartoon movie Space Chimps and eating GUMMIES! Lily was in Heaven! :)

When they got home Alexis came running to me telling me that Daddy gave her a rose! It was a long stem red rose! She said that she had soooo much fun dancing to all the fun songs!
Glad they had a great time!!
