Wordless Wednesday..a big surprise!

When someone doesnt tell ANYONE that she has a birthday Saturday...

or the fact that on her birthday Saturday....she will be 60!!!.....

we SURPRISE her like crazy and have the BEST time!

So...one of my co-workers, Jan Brim....is turning 60 Saturday!

We all knew she had a birthday coming up...but none of us realized it was the BIG 6-0!

Her daughter, Jennifer, messaged me and told me the fun news! The planning began!

OH...she was SOOO surprised today! She had NO clue that we were all having lunch to actually celebrate her!

When the Mexican singing started coming out with the sombrero...her face was priceless!

I have not laughed has hard as I did in awhile! SO fun!

OH...I laughed and laughed! We called her our Indian chief...and told her she was in a Mexican restaurant and not an Indian one! bahaha!

 She did NOT want the whipped cream on her!

 So....they double did her! ha!

 It was all over her!

 Trying to blow her candles out of the 'cake' we made her!

 You just have to know Jan....the 'cake' we made her was perfect and so hilarious! She loved it!

 Some of us that was in on the surprise! Such a fun work lunch today! I love my co-workers!

Danceline round-up and full Grey day!

Im late posting but yesterday ended Alexis' camp for the week.

She had a long week of camp but said she loved it all!

I was off yesterday so the girls and I did some shopping and lunch before dropping Alexis off! I had a surprise little visitor come over since his daycare was without power. I so enjoyed him while he was with us for a couple of hours! Grey is growing so fast!

I tried on some fun sunglasses. Alexis wanted me to take a picture of myself because she said they looked great on me. I think she really just wanted to photo bomb the picture! :) {Sidenote, I did not get the sunglasses..they look too big on my head!} :)

The dance group! They all got these cute key chains...to put on their backpacks...since school will be starting soon!

This sweet sweet sweet baby! He is so adorable and just watches and coos and was just the happiest and most content little thing while I had him! He LOVES his Uncle Ty Ty {as I have named him for Grey :) He would just smile and smile at him over anybody!} His next most favorite was Lily! He watched her every move! {She is always ranked high with everyone!} :)

I got him the little crab outfit and it looked SO adorable on him! The sweetest!

Alexis and Lily headed over to Lily {'big' Lily's} house for her pool/spend the night birthday party! They had a BLAST! Lily played with Hope and then came home while Lex stayed for the spend the night part. BOY was Alexis cranky and tired today! Whew...good thing her and Lily went with Gran to see Hotel Transylvania 3 today because she was in a mood. Needless to say...she went to bed early and slept well!

Hillcrest VBS!

Tonight rounded out Hillcrest's VBS this week and the girls had a blast!

They had food and bouncy houses and COCKY! Miss JSU also came for a visit to end their VBS.

It was a fun night! I know Nan and Pawpaw have to be worn out from all of the fun and action! It is a lot of work! :)

Im glad Alexis and Lily had a great time!

Cheer camp is in the books!

Its a late post but last night ended Lily's cheer camp and she had a blast!

We actually got through the whole routine...so now...we just have to practice to make sure they remember it and then we have some work to make it look good! ha!

It has been fun, so far, being with this group and Im looking forward to having the season start!

These two have had so much fun with each other during camp! They are such sweet friends! Lily is begging every night that Kelby is in her 1st grade class with her since they were together in Kindergarten. Fingers are crossed! :) :)

Another camp day down!

We have had another great cheer camp day today!

Lily...and her little group of cheer friends....OH...BOY...they have some energy...and spunk...and sass...and whew!.... :) :)

I remember Alexis and her little cheer crew being similar...but I dont know if it is because Im 'older' {haha!??} or what...but this time around, their energy compared to mine is off the charts! :)

Alexis had a great day today during her dance camp! I didnt get to see her today but Tyler said that she told him ...'it was great!' Im glad she is loving something new that she is trying! She has always been such a beautiful dancer to me so I had a feeling she would love it like the rest!

The official cheerleader!

Tonight was a historic night!...

Lily became an official cheerleader!

She has wanted to be a cheerleader ever since Alexis became a cheerleader..........years ago!

Well, tonight marked that night!

She LOVED every minute of tonight and did SO good during her 1st night of cheer camp!

This year marks a lot for me! I am filled with mixed emotions!

This year marks the 1st year in 5 years that I have not coached Alexis. She is no longer cheering this year and so I get to enjoy watching her on danceline! Alexis actually has her danceline camp this week too! She told Tyler that she had a great time and loved it today! She goes all week for camp where Lily just has through Wednesday! I hate I didnt get any pictures of Alexis...but Im glad she is enjoying danceline and changing things up from where she did cheer in the past to see what she really loves to do!

This year marks the fact that Lily is growing up and time is just flying!

This year marks the 1st year that I am not head coach. As excited as I am that I get to just 'help' coach...it is oddly 'weird' that I am not in that head role! I had to take a couple of reality checks this afternoon...and it was odd! ha!

I cant wait to watch this group of Lily's friends grow and me be apart of it this year!

The whole crew! We have 20 girls this season! I think it is a great number and mix! I am excited that I get to have a chance to know Lily's friend group as I have gotten to know and watch Alexis' friend group grow!

OHHH....they all LOVED doing stunts....and jumps and flips! haha! :) Looking forward to the next two nights!

Laid back!

Since getting home Thursday from Auburn, we have been very low key since!

Perfection! :)

We stayed home all day yesterday and today with the exceptions of lunch and Church. We have lounged around and just enjoyed being home!

Lily {big Lily as she is called} came over to 'hang out'.....so we loaded up for a quick lunch to Cecil's before heading back home and just relaxing yesterday! They all had a blast, as usual, playing and most importantly {per Alexis} Lily teaching her how to play card games! Alexis has never really played any type of card games {besides Old Maid} so she had so much fun playing!
These three wanted to sit in a boot by themselves!...............well fine then! :)

And today....this one looked so beautiful and GROWN that I just had to take a picture! She is growing up way tooooo fast! And...Im so jealous of her little tan too!

When we got home from Church, we lounged more...and these two snacked on a popsicle before we all headed to Nan and Pawpaw's Church since their VBS started today!

More Auburn fun!

4th of July went off with a BOOM!

It was a perfectly weathered day...and it was filled with all things American too! :)

RED..WHITE...and BLUE! She was ready to wear this bathing suit since it was the 4th! :)

She had her red, white and blue on too!

This was my view for the entire day! Glorious!

Nothing more American...than a beautiful day by the pool.....in the sun...fireworks...good food...and laughter! Perfection of a day!

We all headed to Outback for dinner before doing some shopping and then heading to the fireworks! I just realized..I didnt take many pictures and this is the only one I got of us four!
Nothing better than...red, white and blue...mixed in with some orange and blue! All are the BEST colors! :) :)

SO excited to see the fireworks...and eat her sucker!.............until she passed out mid fireworks and missed most of them because she was soooo tired. She wasnt too happy when she realized she missed them once she woke up!

We had the perfect spot to watch the fireworks this year. Normally we go to the Baptist Church...but last year they were hard to see. We tried this new spot and it was perfect! I cut Tyler's head off in the picture...whoops! :)

We got up today and had breakfast with Nan and Pawpaw while Brandi slept in before heading to the pool to soak up some sun. We headed home after and now we have the rest of the afternoon relaxing and unpacking at home! Tickles and Aubie were excited to have us home!

We let them swim in the indoor pool for a little bit since it was our last day. They love the inside pool!

They pretty much had this whole pool to themselves because everyone else was in the big pool, outside, like normal people! :)
We had a great trip.....as always....to our most favorite place!

Lovin Auburn!

its that time again...

when we head to Auburn for the 4th of July! I have to say...

I LOVE it!

We met Nan, Pawpaw and Brandi at Cracker Barrell and then hit the streets to get to Auburn!

 We made it in perfect timing to have pretty much the entire day HERE!
Lily wanted to swim with her baby! :)

The little girl has turned into a FISH! She loves swimming and everything we asked her to try...or do...she would! Before we knew it...she was doing front and back flips! She is a pro!

And...there is the front flip! :)

We soaked up all the pool and sun that we could before heading to our room and then on to dinner! We tried a new place call The Mason Jar and OH MY goodness...I loved it! The atmosphere was so cute and the food was delicious!
The girls...and I....loved all the fun decor...and the fun different choices of lemonades! AND...the drinks all came in mason jars! :)

After we ate our yummy dinner...we HAD THIS! OH my...it was bigger than Lily! ha! Both of these two...and I...were drooling over this thing!

SOOO good!

We headed to the new bowling alley after eating and it was so nice! We had a great time competing against each other! Daddy won!...I came in second....Brandi in 3rd...and then Pawpaw, Alexis and Lily! ha! :)

This little one couldnt hang! After a FULL day...she was exhausted! She used the seat belt as her pillow! ha!

When you turn 10...

you just keep on celebrating!

Tonight we celebrated with family at Baja and had a great dinner!

Alexis had a great time eating cake...and getting the whip cream thrown ALLLL in her face by the restaurant staff as they sang her happy birthday in Spanish! ha! OH I think this was the most I have ever seen on someone' face!

She had to use napkins to dig it out of her nostrils!

The crew! I missed the end crew that came in, Richard and Pam. They sat down by Mom and Ben!

I tried my best to get a picture of the cake showing ALLLL the 10 candles but there was just TOOO many that it is a bright blur! ha!

WOW....look at all of that glow! Must be a WHOLE bunch of candles on there! :) :)

It took her a couple of times to blow them all out! :)

Present time! OH...she loved this part!

This picture was just the beginning....see that lid right beside the present on the table?!?! THAT....ALL of it...ENDED up on her FACE! She was shocked! It was sooo funny! That waiter good her BIG time! :)
