Lily finished up swim lessons today and BOY, she has worked!
She has practiced and practiced and floated and floated!
She has done so well!
I am super proud of her hard work and determination!
She would grab one of the instructors and ask them..over and over... to let her jump to them or let her swim to them or help her or watch her float! None of the other kids asked for extra!
Yesterday Caroline's Mom took Alexis and Caroline on a 'fun day' together since Caroline is going to miss Alexis' party due to them being at the beach. They went and did what Alexis requested since it was her birthday 'treat!' BOY did she rack up! They took Alexis to her favorite place...Moe's to eat {per her request} and then they went to Justice to shop! They got matching shirts, {see the shirts they have on} matching fake fingernails! {oh me...you can kind of see them on Caroline in the picture} and Leyla even got Alexis {and Caroline} a stuffed dog from Justice with the dog tag named Lexi {like her!} WHAT?!?!! Leyla did NOT have to do all of that...but it made Alexis' day and she had so much fun with her 'bestie' Caroline! :) :) :)
Yesterday Lily had a new instructor and she loves him and he really worked with her the most out of all the days!
Her favorite thing now is jumping in!
Last day today! Lily asked me if she could do swim lessons again next week. Whew NO, haha.....having to wash so many bathing suits and everything that comes with not only getting them all together for Summer Camp..but having to change Lily from a wet bathing suit to a dry one because she couldnt go all day in a wet bathing suit to turn around and swim in the afternoons at Camp, that I am glad for a break! :)
Lily has had fun with her little swim friends!
Doing a little happy dance in the water! It was overcast today which I was glad because I didnt have to worry about her getting sunburned that morning or that afternoon when they swam again!
Practicing and practicing!!
And...then she begged for him to take her to the deep end to swim! She swam and swam {everyone else was just hanging out in the shallow end...and she was working away!} and then he let go of her so it made her keep going on her own! She did it! She got on to him for doing that to her {which was funny...and he was dying laughing} but she did it! :) :)

Wordless Wednesday!
The girls LOVE to do Snapchat with me and see how their faces change...and voice changes, etc. It is hilarious!
I sent this to Tyler a couple of weeks ago! Bahahaha! I was rolling! This is just plain scary! :) :) He texted me back....'Wow!' :) :) bahaha!
{Snapchat! There are no words! A 23 year old named Evan Spiegel.....is a billionaire!..........there are no words! Wordless!!!... on how crazy Snapchat is and how someone gets paid to come up with all the different filters and face swaps and ideas! And.... if you dont have it.....you are just not cool!} :) :)

Where has June gone?
June!....
Why is it gone!?!
This month has flown by and we only have a couple of days left until we are heading into the last month before school starts back!
BOO!
We have soaked it all up and I cant say that we didnt pack in as much fun as we possibly could!
We had a lazy day yesterday just recuperating from the weekend and just playing 'catch up!'
Lily is back in FULL swing of swim lessons........
which is making the 'swimmy' wearing situation worse!
Poor thing...she has cried...and cried...and cried about still having to wear her 'swimmys' even though she thinks she shouldnt have to anymore. It has been a looooonnngg battle with it but Daddy 'laid the law down' today and just told her that she has to wear them until she can prove to him that she can swim and do everything that he asks. She didnt like that answer but even with me trying to explain to her about it..she didnt go to bed tooooo happy. I am grateful that she is loving lessons and learning...but BOY, the stubbornness and determination in her makes this situation more tough! :)
Ready to be in the 'deep end!' She is just sooo excited and thinks she is so BIG to be in the deep end!
Jumping in is her favorite now!
Kicking hard! REALLY hard! :)
This little thing!.....oh, she is so big on soooo many levels!! :)
Doing something new now! They have to swim through the hula hoop!
She has worked so hard to float! She is sooo proud of herself for doing this! The smile melts me when she pops up!
We came home on a 'lazy' Monday and the girls spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying just relaxing and playing outside! I enjoyed catching up on odds and ends while they played. It was a nice and low key afternoon just being at home! :)
Tickles, of course, had to join in on the fun!
Love!
So, you know how we love to pack a ton of fun things all in at one time!...well, we capped off our day by heading to Miller's 10th birthday swim party! The Piedmont pool is always a hit and she could not wait to swim...swim..swim! :)
Cooper and Lily love to play...and they had fun on the big Emoji float!
And then...LOOK at this! Lily would go up...and stand on the edge and then turn around and get off. Then, she would go back up...and then go back down. And THEN....out of nowhere, she just climbed back up....and jumped off! :) She did it 2 more times and then I think she was good but I was super proud of her for not being scared!
Happy birthday to Miller!
We came home just in time for bath-time and BED! :) Awesome! :)
Tonight we had Ms. Paige and Ms. Tierra and Imani over to go over the cheer routine and to start gearing up for cheer that will be starting right around the corner. Crazy how it is almost that time again! The girls enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and playing while us Coaches brainstormed and learned the routine! I am super excited about the season..........just not so excited that it is getting that time already! WOW....our Summer is flying...............WAYYYY toooooo fast! BOO!
Tomorrow Alexis has a fun play afternoon at Caroline's since she is not able to come to Alexis' birthday party so Alexis is pumped about that! She has only asked me 10 billion...catrillion....bazillion times if today is the day! :)
Whew! :) :)

Let's GO Braves!
We had an impromptu Braves trip today to visit their new ball field and it was great!
We have been wanting to visit and see what the new park was all about and today marked that day!
It was an absolute perfect day to be at the field. The weather was overcast and the breeze made it just right!
Tyler and I both agree though, that the new field is awesome but there is just something about the old Turner field that the new field just can compare! Turner field was a lot bigger and you could just feel the history and the baseball nostalgic there.
Maybe one day, this new field will get that same ole feeling..... hopefully! :)
My little family of four had a great day together and we cheered, and did the tomahawk chop, ate cotton-candy, a funnel cake, and more as we enjoyed the game!
Even though the Braves lost to the Milwaukee Brewers, we never stopped cheering! :)
We made a pit stop on the way and she wanted me to take a picture of her with Ms. M&M! :) When she actually asks to take a picture...I jump on the chance! :)
On our way to see the Braves play!
The new park! It isnt as big as Turner and I missed seeing the big baseball monuments too but Suntrust is 'high tech' and new and top of the line!
Daddy and his girls!
Me and my girls!
They have a really nice grassy area where kids could throw balls and everyone could hang out before and during the game! It was a nice area surrounded by restaurants and hot dog stands, etc! We ate lunch right behind where the girls are in the picture and then both girls had fun sticking their feet in the water before we went to our seats!
A nice view of the inside!
We had perfect seats. The breeze, great view and we were underneath the cover so we were nice and shaded!
Tyler got some loto tickets....so hopefully our name will be on that sign of us winning that number it is showing! :)
This little girl begged to wear her Daddy's hat so he fixed it right up to her size and it made her day!
And....she has it made!
It was a lot safer walking to and from our car unlike Turner this time. At Turner we sometimes had to 'duck and go' from people begging for money, etc. So, the nice bridge was cool to walk over as all the cars that were underneath us passed by! We got home just in time for dinner and to grab a movie from Redbox to watch once the girls went to bed! Perfection! :)

American Ninja fireflies!
Have you heard of the TV show..American Ninja Warrior?
Well, we love that show!
We love to root on the competitor to make it through all the obstacles! It is awesome to see how hard the obstacles are, and watch them being conquered!
So, when we went to The Factory today........
the girls were pumped when they saw that they added a new addition!
They had a really cool new set-up of rope swings, a rope wall, a rock wall, etc and it was so fun!
Daddy and I kept saying...'Okay, American Ninja Warrior Alexis....Lily!....let's go!...you can do it!' :)
They ate it up and thought it was soooo cool to do obstacles like one of our favorite shows to watch as a family!
After we ran some errands, ate lunch, we came home to hang out with Brandon and do some coon hunting in our backyard!
I am BOUND and DETERMINED to get this raccoon that wont leave Tickles' food alone. The super chubby thing {because he keeps eating her food!!} is super smart and I have been trying for weeks to catch him!! So, Brandon brought Storm up and she tracked it's scent and so...hopefully.....SOON, the coon will be out being chased! :) {If you know anything about coon hunting..which I dont...but Brandon help to inform me!} :)
I cooked dinner, sent a 'to-go' plate home with Brandon and my little family of four spent the rest of the afternoon, until time for bed-time, outside enjoying the beautiful day! There was an 80% chance of rain today...and there wasn't a single drop so we soaked up the beautiful day! The girls caught fireflies and jumped on the trampoline...and ate popsicles....and we all just enjoyed being home! :)
They could have stayed here allllll day if we would have let them. They went back and forth..and back and forth and forward...and back...over and over.....and over playing and climbing on all of this! :)
Trying...over and over to make it across!
It wasnt easy!
Hanging on for dear life! :)
This picture cracks me up! She tried her hardest to get her foot over to the next disc!
She flew through the rope wall!!
Perfect toe touch! I was proud of myself for snapping this picture!
Firefly time! One of my favorites....is to watch the girls trying to catch them! They will RACE as fast as they can to get the firefly before the other one! Then they will make all kinds of funny moves to try and catch them! :)
Alexis thought {for a minute} that if she just held her cup up.....that it would decide to just go in there! Bahaha...I was dying! :) :) :)
Trying to get it before the other one did!
Got it!
They wanted to use these little cups to catch and hold the fireflies..yet both of them kept getting frustrated when they would fly out! Oh both girls were killing me! :) If you notice...in this picture...Lily is looking in her cups because one was trying to fly out!
And..look in the background of this picture! Alexis was looking in her cup because one of hers was trying to fly out! :) :) OH me! :) Lily was pumped that she caught hers! :)

McWayne fun!
Today was my day off...
and if I could have cancelled and not gone...we probably would have..
but I had already committed and was responsible for other littles....
so, we hunkered down and took the storm by grips and headed to B'ham for McWayne fun!
We had to go down to the basement area twice...with all the kids...and everyone else in the entire building twice due to storm warnings...
but nonetheless, the kids had a blast!
We love McWayne and the girls love to go with friends so it was worth it!
Boy, Im tired though!
I have heard....where you go to work....because being at home is harder! Well, if you havent, Im saying it...and today was one of those days! :)
We wouldnt have been able to do anything at home really because of all the rain with the hurricanes/tropical storms that are rolling through...so Im glad the girls had a good time!
Ready to go and play! We had a big crew with us today!
Elyse and Lily love playing together!
Bubbles were a huge hit!
Sweet friends!
Sweet friends too! Lily and Deven!
I dont know what happened to the picture I took of Lily doing this but both girls were not too sure of the 'bed of nails!' You lay on this thing and then someone presses a button and the 'nails' pop up! Alexis said it hurt her back! :)
Friends forever. I didnt tell Alexis that SK was going. She was so shocked when she saw her! :)
The huge screen was so interactive! Wherever your arms or body moved..it would bounce the petals or whatever they had 'falling!'
Lily thought this was amazing! I dont remember this section from the last times we have came but not sure if it is new or not! She was on TV! :)
She could not get over how she had to stand of front of this screen but what she saw on the TV! She was amazed!
Alexis and Audrey had fun with their TV appearance too! So, the girls had a blast! Luna rode with me and she had a blast! Both Luna and Lily both slept the entire way home...as I had my flashers on for a good bit of the time because of the horrible rain!....but, we made it home, we are curled up right now..as it still raining! Ahh..... :)
