JV Cheer pics!

Pictures were done soooo early this season!

Super crazy as I am not use to it since in youth sports, it was a ways away! And...it was quick! Crazy! ha!

We found out today that their school will be blended for the first two weeks. BOO!

So..the girls will be going only Monday and Tuesday....

yeah...

it stinks!

I HATE this!

The other 3 days...they will be virtual. At home.

Yeah.

I honestly dont know how we are going to do it! The girls will be responsible for {the word used...rigorous} school work/tests on the 3 days they are at home. They will have to log in and listen to their teachers, etc.

So....not only that...JSU students will be back on campus that week and I am SLAMMED!

And...I am taking 2 classes myself! Ahhh!!

But...I got this! Im fine. It's fine. Everything is fine! :) :)

So....on the topic that I intended this post for...

Alexis' cheer pictures!

I SO hope they have their season!

I have sooooo many questions since the announcement about school only being 2 days a week for the first two weeks.

So half the kids go Monday and Tuesday. The other half go Thursday and Friday.

So...

how is everything going to work?

The Monday and Tuesday kids {my kids} will not be at school for the pep rallies. So are they even going to have football?...pep rallies?....anything AT ALL 'normal?' There will be two football games that are supposed to happen during this 2 week blended schooling. So...not sure if they will be played..or delayed...or what!....

Who knows....

we are just going to have to GO with it and pray that these crazy times settle down!

It was storming so I didnt take but a couple of pictures. Hoping for a pretty afternoon closer to the season to take some more!

I just cant believe she is just growing as fast as she is! WOW!

Ahh! LOVE!
Just grown I tell ya!
My cheerleader!
Love it in black and white!
So grown!
2020 JHS Junior Varsity Cheer Squad! So excited to watch them shine!
Taylor and Lex!
Some of the 7th graders!
Lauren, Taylor, Lex and Savannah!
Alexis was excited to spend the night with Savannah and go to stunt camp tomorrow! Sweet friends!

Doing Graduation....during a pandemic!

So...

we made it through Graduation!

Still one tomorrow...

but one down!

Luckily...I dont have to work the one tomorrow!

I feel like it all went well. There for sure wasnt as big of a crowd as I feel there normally would have been but there was still a lot of people!

Everyone kept their distance and wore masks!

Luckily...too..it was overcast...so that was a huge blessing!

Love my work crew! We make whatever we have to do....fun!
Mask gang! ha!

Ra..ra..ra...week cap!

This week has been filled with gearing up for fall stuff!

What I mean by that....

all things JV Cheer....School Orientations....and school supply drop-offs!

It is getting that time!...and I am ready!

I LOVE Fall!

Alllll things Fall are my favorite!

The excitement of school starting back.....the crispness in the air....that just comfort feeling that Fall brings...pumpkins....orange.....FOOTBALL...Halloween......

I could just go on and on!

So.....we are hopeful Fall will bring new light to the world!

Hopeful that school will kick off and they will not have to move to virtual. Hopeful that Alexis will have her cheer season. Hopeful Lily will get to play Fall Soccer.

We are just hopeful.

So we shall see!

But...we are for SURE gearing up for it all! :)

These two have had fun making a fort! They laid like this for half a day just watching movies! Soccer literally loved being under there with her ....like that with his toys too!
She kicked off the first day....week...of CHEER!
She has been doing virtual cheer throughout the quarantine and then also through Summer but she has been sooooo READY to be with her squad face to face!
She has had long afternoons of practice and has come home tired and ready for a shower and bed but with a full smile on her face!
She is not use to having work-outs so she is seeing what that world is all about! Her muscles are warming up to the fact that they have to be worked out...so...ya know...she is getting there with that! :)
Alll the girls! JV cheer squad ready to have a great first week!
We had her Orientation where she got to find out the flow if the high school. Where all her classes will be...and alllll the fun other details like getting her chromebook. She is bummed she couldnt get a locker....by all of friends...and have a chance to 'make it cute' by decorating it but maybe the Spring they will let them have them! Fingers crossed!
I just cant believe that she is in HIGH SCHOOL! :) :)
One cheer day was 'color' day! Team GREEN! :)
One of the days this week...was crazy sock day! They have had so much fun!
I cant wait to watch their season.........if it happens that is!

Disney Circa!

I LOVE doing posts like this!

To look back in time to see the changes!

It makes me happy!

Look at the difference 7 years makes! :)

Circa 2014! I love this of Lex!
And...just for kicks..because I love this of Lily!
And...now look at them! Circa 2020! Where has the time gone!?!?!
We loved this ride then...Circa 2014!....
And in 2020 also! And this time...we got to ride it as many times as we wanted!
Mind blowing! Circa 2014! No pandemic...just a TON of people! It was like this everywhere we were allowed to park the stroller. It was hard to find ours every time!
Different picture angle but the same place. COVID-19 pandemic, Circa 2020. Craziness!
Winnie the Pooh in 2014! {NOTICE the wait time clock on the top left! Wait time...55 minutes!}
Winne the Pooh in 2020! {NOTICE on this one...wait time...5!!! MINUTES! ha!} WOW!
My FAVORITE picture! LOOK at little Lily and Alexis!! Ahhh!! Circa 2014!
And...my new favorite picture of Circa 2020! Love her joy...and her smile!..and just her!
Circa 2014 on the Little Mermaid!
On the Little Mermaid!
Two girls that I have NO idea how they have grown up so fast...Circa 2020!
Love...for a look back in time! :)

Soaking up the last day!

We werent finished yet!

Next but not least...Hollywood Studios!

Oh...we loved it!

We really felt like VIP on this day due to the crowd....and just the atmosphere that Hollywood Studio holds!

The fancy buildings..the palm trees...the music...makes you feel you are in Hollywood California and you are famous!

Right up my alley! :)

Here we go!
Ohhhh....we loved!
Tower of Terror...that tall hotel behind us....yeah...AWESOME ride!
The palms...the street...the music...we felt we were famous!
We loved this and rode it several times! It is like you are in a fancy....old...hotel that is haunted! The evaluator is haunted and while you are in it....it DROPS! We had NO idea it was going to do what it did and it was soooo fun! ha!
The Star Wars area was neat! We ate lunch here and watch these guys doing their thing while we ate! They were yelling out to people! It was neat! It started raining right after we got finished eating so we darted into a ride and rode it several times. By the time we were out...it had stopped raining! SCORE!
We were in this ride that we had to help take over the solar system! So cool!
Anyone who knows me...knows I LOVE me some Aerosmith! Well...they have a roller coaster! I was super bummed because last time we didnt get to ride it because the wait was just soooo long! Well...I have to say..I could only ride this once because it was SUPER fast! With the turns and the fastness...whew...I was good on this though I loved the music it played the entire time! Guess who begged to ride it again..and again....
yep...Alexis and Lily both! :)
This was inside the ride! It was like we were in their studio! Super cool!
I have to say...all the rides and their decor...and the landscaping...etc...was just amazing! So detailed and precise. I just couldnt get over it all! SO much attention to detail!
Toy Story world! I was super sad that 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids' area was closed and removed in 2016 to be replaced by this because when we went...both girls LOVED that area so I was looking forward to that again...
but this new area was amazing! It was all things Toy Story! Slinky Dog....yep..such a fun roller coaster! We allll loved it!
We loved Toy Story Mania as well!
Runaway Railway! Well...we waited in line {though it wasnt long...but still we did wait} got on the ride. It started going and then like 5 seconds later...it just stopped! We sat there for like 4 minutes before anyone came to us! By the time we got out...it was super cool to walk through a closed down Disney ride. We got to see the 'behind the scenes' areas. We got to see how we thought {for example} that we were riding on water..but it was nothing more than a cement floor with a TON of effects! SUPER cool! So, about 30 minutes later...they had it up and running again so we rode it! Super neat!

And..we finished out the day with a parade! Such a fun and last day! We came back and hung out by the pool until late and then we got ready and had Outback! YUM!
Memories that I will hold forever!

More memory making!

Next on the agenda...Magic Kingdom!

You know....

everyone loves Magic Kingdom...and I do!....

but...

it just wasnt my favorite.

All of us....in this order...loved 1. Hollywood Studios 2. Animal Kingdom 3. Epcot and then 4. Magic Kingdom!

I feel that they need to modernize Magic Kingdom. Maybe because we had SO much time in there that I had time to really observe everything that I just noticed that the rides were 'older' with their technology, etc. Maybe that is the nostalgia of it....that everyone loves but if they were to be there on a day like we were....to not have to wait in line and actually see alot...it just needs a facelift to me!

But....

we did love it...

and it was so much fun to ride some of the oldie goldies like It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, the Tea Cups, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, the Race Cars, Carousel of Progress, The Little Mermaid, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion and a TON more!

Welcome! We are so happy we are here! :)
OF COURSE we have to have a picture with the castle behind us!
Love making memories with these two!....even if there is a pandemic!
We loved our shirts on this day!
These two LOVE Disney! {Lily did NOT love taking more pictures! Can you tell!} :) :)
 Love!
 Cinderella's castle is huge!
 And...so beautiful!
 Going inside it!
 Group picture!
THIS ride! We rode it four times. Well...actually the girls did! Gran and I couldnt stomach it any longer so Alexis and Lily rode it by themselves the last time! GET THIS!!....this roller coaster is FAST! SUPER fast!...........and DARK! You can not see anything on this ride. It is like you are in space and it is pitch black the entire time! And....I didnt remember any of that because we didnt even get to ride this when we went {7} years before because of the lines! So....I thought I might cry on some of the turns and loops.................................BUT.................Alexis and Lily BEGGED to keep riding this and LOVED it! Space Mountain and them riding it so much blew my mind! :)
Space Mountain is both their 2nd favorite after Avatar Pandora. They loved Avatar...and then this was a close second!

Teacups! Of course they are a MUST!
Yeah...I rode with Lily! And we spun...fast...and the whole time. Yeah..shouldnt have picked her to ride with! :)
Mine Train!
THIS is how Lily rode every roller coaster! NO fear I tell you! NONE! :) She is in the VERY front of the ride too!
That is another thing that was super cool....because of the way it was...we got to ride in the very front on almost all the rides....and then got to ride and view different angles the next time we rode! Super cool!
Lex and I rode the Mine Train together! We rode this several times too!
LOOK at this picture! If there wasnt a pandemic...there would be TONS of people in this picture! NO ONE...empty! So weird!.........yet sooo awesome for us!
LOOK at this line! Hours of a wait...normally...for It's a Small World because it is such an iconic ride. NOBODY!
 My girls!
Of course had to take a picture inside It's a Small World...because....its a small world after all! :)
Of course..cant go to Disney without getting a Disney 'Dolewhip!' Perfect way to cool down on a Magic Kingdom day!
THIS blows my mind! I took a picture {I will do a separate post showing the difference} of how there is NO strollers...empty! Last time we came....it was insane! I could not find Lily's stroller because it was so jam packed! Toooo crazy to me to see it like this!
The Little Mermaid! My favorite Disney movie!...in a fun ride! I sang the whole ride! :)
Look at Lily's face! She loved this ride and we rode it a couple of times! She got to shoot aliens! She bragged the rest of the time that she beat everyone! :)
We stayed a little longer in Magic Kingdom...so on this day...we hit a drive thru and headed back to the room and just relaxed the rest of the night! Such a fun day!
