The girls had a fun weekend with Aunt Pam and Richard! They spent Friday night with them and enjoyed staying up late, watching movies, playing, paddle boating, and playing outside! To say they had a great time was an under statement!!
Tyler and I enjoyed a great date night Friday with the highlight being Effinas! OOOhhhh....it was SO good! We both cleaned out plates! {licked them clean!} :) We enjoyed today by having a huge breakfast at Romas and antiquing and thrift store shopping! {Yes, I know....we sound like 'old people!!'} :) We met Pam and Richard for dinner and got two WORN out girls back! We missed them, but I dont think they missed us! :) They both hit the sack early because they have had such a fun day!
Aunt Pam and Richard...with the girls...enjoying some fun shopping and a 'wild ride!!' {If you think you see red on Alexis' face...it is red face paint! She had her whole face painted during her field day! Pam said it took awhile to get it all off!} :)
oohhh oohhh ohhhh.... paddle boatin.....
Enjoying the beautiful afternoon!! Lily LOVED being out on the paddle boat!
And....two worn out little girls!!! :)

KSES Field day~ 2014!
Alexis had her very first Field day today! I remember LOVING field days at the end of each school year! We got to be outside and just play and play all day! What could be better! {As a child that is!} :)
I got to go and help out today during it and I have to say these kids have TOOOOOO much energy!! They played and played and threw balls, jumped, played kickball, volleyball, 'laid out to get a tan' then picked flowers, and so on and so on!
I asked this one little boy if he was really tired because he just played SO hard. He looked at me and said 'nope!' Good grief! Just watching him play made me tired! :)
I loved having the chance to see Alexis with her little friends having fun today! I wish it could have been a little warmer {I think Spring/Summer just has gone missing!!} but overall it was a beautiful blue skied day to be out celebrating the end of the year!!
The kiddos having so much fun!
Emory and Alexis!
Alexis, Emory, Caroline and Avi!
After they were done running around where I was...they headed up to do face painting and sand art! Thankfully my part was done after this...whew...but I did have to head back to work after though! :(

A glimpse.....
WHEW!!!..... it has been a very very busy busy week! We are for sure living life to the fullest this week and it has been great! Despite today feeling like it was back winter time...that hasnt stopped us! :)
A glimpse into what we have been up to this week....we are nearing the Finale of American Idol so we are on the 'edge of our seats' about that in our house! :) Also, Alexis and Lily both are nearing the end of year at school! It is sad but true that Alexis' Kindergarten year is pretty much over! :(
We have been going all week and this little family is worn out! We have had baseball games, dinners, parades, field days, retirement parties and fun days galore! whew!!!..... :)
A couple of things we have been up to this week....
Vocabulary parade~2014! Alexis wanted to 'strike a pose Mommy!' {Not sure what she is doing with her hands!!} :)
Alexis' word was Shimmering!
Her cute little friends! Avi, Leeland, Caroline, Alexis and Emory!
Enjoying the parade!
And a little bit of this! I walked in the livingroom and saw this as they were watching TV before bedtime! Melts my heart!! Soooo sweet that they love each other like they do! :)

My view.......
My view for the first part of Mother's Day today was Tyler and I enjoying a beautiful day and bike ride! We hit the Ladiga Trail this morning for a nice ride! Whew....it wore me out! :) We didnt trek to Piedmont this time, we decided to ride the other half and check out the views on the other end! Even though I was 'childless' for part of Mother's Day.....I value getting to spend quality time with Tyler. It is very rare and far between but I am very thankful to have the times that we do get together! :)
The girls spent the night with Gran since we were all together the night before because of the dance recital....soooooo....Tyler and I did enjoy sleeping in {which we NEVER do} and then getting up and hitting the trail!
We got the girls back just in time to meet Nan and Pawpaw for lunch and then the rest of the day was spent enjoying the day and watching Frozen!!! It has been a great Mother's Day! :)
I am sooooo thankful and blessed to be the Mommy of the two most beautiful, strong, determined, smart, hilarious, loving, little girls! My days are spent just racking my brain at how fast they are growing up! I treasure the memories we have made together and I just can not wait to see what many more memories will be made and having the opportunity to watch them grow more! I love you Alexis and Lily more than you will ever ever ever know!! :)
My view for the morning!! Love him!! :)
Ohhh...the honeysuckles smelled sooooo good and were everywhere! I loved it!! That was one of my most favorite childhood memories was picking honeysuckles! I would fill up a trash bag and try to sell them and lemonade! :) Kids these days probably dont even know what a honeysuckle taste like ;) {Goodness, I just sounded really old!} :)
My sweet gifts from Alexis for Mother's Day! The flower to the right...actually smelled like a flower! Alexis said that Mrs. Pollard sprayed perfume on it! :)
I love seeing what Alexis wrote about me! Melts my heart!!
And...my gifts from Daddy/the girls.......and Lily!! Tyler got me a really nice Jessica Simpson purse and Lily decorated a flower pot and gave me flowers to grow!
This sweet poem from Lily and the picture of her hand! Not sure where her thumb went off to?!? :)

Year 3..
Yesterday marked year 3 for Alexis taking dance!! This year we were at yet another new dance company and I have to say this one was MUCH...by FAR..better than where she took last year!!
The theme of her dance performance was 'Happy birthday Princess!' The girls did SUCH a great job with their dance! Alexis did so well remembering all the dance moves...and even smiling during it too!!
Alexis has really loved dancing this year as well as having her 'very best friend' Carli in her class! They are a handful together...but they love being with each other! :) I love to hear their conversations together! They CRACK me up to say the least!
Alexis had her Dance Recital at the Oxford Performing Arts building. It was a really nice facility.
Nan, Pawpaw, Brandi, Aunt Pam, Richard, Ben and Gran all came to watch Alexis dance! We all enjoyed O'Charley's after to celebrate Mother's Day! YUMMM O!! :)
I can not wait to see Alexis continue to grow and grow with her dancing! She is so beautiful!! Also, I cant wait to see Lily dance! YEP, that is right...it is time for her to start! :) Where has the time gone?!?! Next year should be interesting with getting them both to classes as well as Alexis cheering for football too! I really will be worn out! :)
Some of the 'tiny dancers' from Alexis' class!
Alexis, Carli and Avery!
My beautiful ballerina!
The big show!!
Laynee and Alexis at Rehearsal Friday night! Such sweet friends!!
The Law crew! Lily was cracking me up during this picture! She was 'striking a pose'...or trying to at least, by putting her hands on her hips!! :)
Gran and the girls!
TOOO funny! Alexis wanted Brandi's hair braided and then have hers braided to match Brandi's! Sooo...Aunt Pam braided both so they could be twins! :)
My little crew!! So proud of Alexis!!
Flashback to Alexis' dance recital last year! Goodness how time flies......

Lily's Graduation
Tonight Lily had her preschool's graduation! I TOTALLY didnt realize it was tonight but thank goodness the teacher's had a reminder note on the check out slip when I picked her up this afternoon!! I had it marked on my calendar as being next week!
Lily and her class did a great job! The theme was being a 'VIP!' They sang two songs on stage complete with hand motions! Lily cracked me up during it! She just kind of swayed to the music and stuck her tongue out the whole time! :)
I cant get over how fast time is flying for both Lily and Alexis! They are growing toooo fast!
Meet the VIPs of the 2 year old class! :)
My little VIP!
Lily mainly kept watching her friends during her performance!
The big group.....and some Man's head! ;)
This CRACKED me up! Out of now where...all of a sudden....the little boy beside Lily started bawling!!
Lily is looking at him like WHAT are you doing!!! :)
THEN....she started thinking if she needed to cry too! Luckily.............she didnt shed any tears! She did great! :)
After her performance....she deserved a cookie! :)

And the wheels are off!
We have had a great weekend! It has made up for a not so good week. Now, dont get me wrong, it was a good week but you know....how sometimes you can just chalk things up to not being the best of the best. The crud is clearing out of the Law house even though there are still a couple of coughs here and there, but overall we are all feeling better!! And next week......Alexis is going to have all smiley faces with no clips moved! ;) {fingers are really crossed!!} :)
The first week of May has been beautiful! We have enjoyed being outside and have really enjoyed the beautiful weather!
My beautiful girls in blue....
We enjoyed First Baptist Church of Saks' Sunday afternoon gathering at Jacksonville Community Center with great food and blow ups before heading to ride bikes!!
Daddy and Daughter learning to ride!!
She rode and rode without her training wheels!! SOO proud of how well she did!!
I didnt take a picture of her riding by herself! :( I know..........I am soo sad!! I did get it on video though! Next time she rides, I will get a picture!! :)
This picture is SO sweet to me! They were taking a break from riding and having a chat! :)
