Childhood memories and saying goodbye.........

We have had a nice and short week this week since we didnt have school or work on Monday because of Memorial Day!
We have had a lot of "goodbyes" this week. Today marked the last day of school for Alexis and Lily at Wee Care. I loaded up all of their school gear and everything since they will both be on to their new places and new adventures come Monday. Both girls said goodbye to their teachers and all of their friends before we left! It was sad to say goodbye to everyone but we are excited about our fun new places this Summer coming up!

This week was also a very sad week when I heard the news about a dear family friend passing. Rusty Cobb was such a wonderful, funny, loving person! My parents and the Cobbs have been really close friends since I was young! They are very near and dear to my heart and it was so sad to me when I heard Rusty had passed! He lived life for today and to the fullest. He never worried about tomorrow, just lived for today! He struggled his whole life with Diabetes. It is a horrible disease and it finally took him. Heaven has gained another Angel that is smiling down on us!

Tomorrow marks saying goodbye to T~ball! I cant really say I am sad about this....even though it has been a learning experience and we have survived Alexis' first experience with an organized sport! :) She has had fun during it and has met some really good friends, but I think we have learned that Alexis is more on the "creative" mind side....the dancer....the "girly girl!" :)
But, hey we tried it...and now we know! {You never know about something until you try it! :) } And....if she tells me she loves it and wants to play again....then of course I am not going to stop her! I would love for her to try Softball when she is a little older! It would bring back some really fond....great...memories from my childhood to see her out on the field playing if she so chooses!! I LOVED Softball when I played! It was one of my favorite sports!

And speaking of "childhood memories"..........Alexis, Tyler and I caught lightning bugs...or as Alexis called them "fire~flies" {which is what they are actually also called!} tonight! It was SO SO SO fun! I think Tyler and I had more fun than Alexis.....and yet Alexis kept saying over...and over..and over how much fun she had! :)
We caught a TON tonight! Our yard was full of them! Tyler and I both said that we think we caught more tonight than we ever did as a child!
One of my fondest memories was running around our house...and the open lot we have chasing them! I loved to do that growing up!
It made me smile tonight to watch Alexis having so much fun........and being so excited when she would catch one!
When we were finished.............we let them all go! Since we caught so many...it was really neat to see them all start flying out of the container!
Ohhhh....the sweet memories!! :)

Play by Play!!
Alexis is ready to go catch them!

Trying to get it......trying to get it!! :)

And she GOT it!

Now Daddy and Alexis putting some of them in the bug container!

And look at all the ones she caught! SO proud and happy!!

Throwback Thursday~ Alexis' first beach trip!

Well, we are kicking off Summer here at the Law house.........and I am soooo happy!! :)

So in honor of Summer.................for this week's "Look back in time"...........
is
Alexis' first beach trip!!

The year was 2008!

Alexis was right at 3 months old when she went to the beach for the first time! I was SO ready for a vacation since I was pregnant the whole Summer and didnt feel like doing anything because it was hot and I was HUGE! :)

So right before I was finished with maternity leave, Tyler and I headed down to Gulf Shores for a long awaited trip to the beach!! We stayed at his Boss' Condo in Gulf Shores. It was soooo nice to be at the beach and do NOTHING but relax!

Tyler's parents and Brandi came down and stayed with us the end of the week! We enjoyed being with them, going to the beach, swimming in the pool and eating great Seafood!

Alexis' very first time to have her toes in the sand and the ocean water on her feet!

Before going to dinner one night!

Pawpaw and Alexis!

SUCH a cutie pie!! :)

The reason

We should always remember the real reason we are fortunate to be able to celebrate the holidays that we have in America!
We have gotten to enjoy this nice long and beautiful Memorial weekend because of all the men and women who have fought hard for our Freedom! They have sacrificed and faced things that are just unimaginable throughout their years of service to ensure that we as Americans can be free and safe! I thank God for them and what they have done for us all.
My Dad was one of those men who fought for our Country! I am honored to be his daughter and know what he has done for America! :)

A child less Memorial Day

We have really enjoyed our long Memorial Day weekend! And....not to mention, this is the first weekend in weeks that it hasnt rained! :)

Yesterday we enjoyed church and then we had everybody on my side over last night for yet another one of Tyler's famous Fish frys! He had to cook alot of fish since there were 15 of us! {He even "took one for the team"... when he burned his leg on some of the hot grease while he was cooking} :(
We enjoyed sitting out on our back deck and catching up with everybody while we ate a ton of food.

Alexis got a "wild hair" to come up and beg me to let her go home with La La and Meagan and Mallory for the rest of the weekend! Since I was off today that meant she had to spend two nights with them! {She is in Heaven!!} Alexis has never been the girl to EVER cry and want to stay at home, so she was SO excited when she had her bag packed and was ready to go!

It has felt weird for me....and Lily today without "Sissy" home. Poor Lily just didnt know what to do really without having her big sister around. ALL day she has said "Sissy go?".............."Sissy??" :(
She loves her Sister! :)

Today Lily and I had special time together {just us} since Alexis was gone and Tyler played golf with Pawpaw.  I really cherish the time to have some "one on one" time with just her to let her know how much I love her!
We went over to Nan and Pawpaw's this afternoon because Pawpaw cooked out for us and it was nice to sit out on their deck and eat with them and Brandi!
Now......back to work tomorrow! :(

Yes,  Alexis + Meagan, Mallory and La La + the sun + the pool = Heaven! :)

Meg and Alexis enjoying the pool!!

Lily got to enjoy a "special" drink from our favorite place...Sonic, since she was our "only" child today!

Lily loved playing on Nan's Piano! She is a natural! :)

Big Sister....Little Sister!

Have I mentioned how much Lily loves to do every.single.thing that her big sister does! Did I mention that Lily wants to have every.single.thing that her big sister has because it is WAY more cool than what she has! Well, if I havent mentioned that....well all of the above is true!
Lily loves her big sister! I just love to watch Lily follow everything .....every move....whatever it is...that Alexis is doing and then tries to copy it!
Lily is getting really good now of calling Alexis "Sissy!" too! When she wants Alexis to come to where she is, or anything she will say "Sissy!" It just melts my heart!
We enjoyed a beautiful...sunny and warm day today! It is so great to just get to be outside and have fun....with not a care in the world! We played outside nearly all day! The girls LOVED to say the least..LOVED playing in the water! Both of my girls are water babies for sure! We had such a great day and looking forward to the rest of the weekend since I am off Monday! WHO HOO!! It is Memorial Day weekend, which kicks off Summer for everybody! We are for sure kicking off Summer with a great start!

Lily is ready to go and play in the water!! {I could just eat her up! :) }

Alexis wanted me to take a picture of her "surfing!!" ha!

Lily had WAY too much fun with this thing! ha!

Little Sister is never far behind Big Sister!! {This makes me smile!}
The girls just having fun! :)

Throwback Thursday~ Summer Lovin

Well, it is finally that time! SUMMERTIME! :) All the graduations are completed....and..... 'schoooools  out for Summer!' {Does that song by Alice Cooper not starting rockin in your head! :) }  Whoo hoo!
I love this time of year! I love everything...........and I do mean everything about Summer! I dont mind sweating to death as long as I am outside by a beach or a pool! :)

So for this "Look back in time".............

the Summer of 2011!

There is nothing better on a hot Summer day than playing outside in the sprinklers!!
That is exactly right up Alexis' alley!! The girl loves all things water, fun and sun! She was just about to be 3 in these pictures!

Pictures just doesnt get much more fun...........and cute than this! :)

She filled that bucket up and poured it out..........and filled it back up again...and poured it out.....and would come up to me and pour it on me, what seemed like 10,000 + times!
She just makes my heart smile!! :)

She could not see a THING in these sunglasses...........but she was bound and determined to keep them on!

Highs and Lows...

Sometimes life just doesnt turn out as you "plan." There are not always sunny and rosie days! This weekend was kind of like that for us......but we still had a good weekend and any situation could always always be worse!
'There is always always something to be thankful for.'
We started the weekend off with rain! RAIN just seems to come ALL the time nowadays! So it came a really bad thunderstorm Friday afternoon and into the night. It rained so much that several areas were flooded. Our side yard was flooded and gushing with water! I have never seen it so full and gushing the way it was. So Saturday plans of Alexis' t~ball was cancelled....again....because of it. So, we had a lazy day at home. I cleaned house....and was disgusting so right just about the time that I was going to get a shower......our power went out! It was out until 9:00pm! So that put a damper on our day...so we decided to get out of the house for a little while so Tyler went and bought a generator so the next time we will be prepared! :)
And then this morning..............OH this morning!
This morning was something that I hope never happens again!
I awoke this morning {before the sun was even up} at 5:00 am to Alexis screaming and crying "MOMMY!!" with the most horrific....scared...hurt scream I have ever heard! I darted straight up in bed and just went into shock mode! I took off running to her room and cut her overhead light on to see her sitting up in bed holding her face. At first I didnt see anything so I had no idea why she was screaming the way she was.........until she moved her hands.
OH MY GOODNESS! Blood was everywhere! It was gushing out of her nose and all in her mouth. She kept coughing it up and spitting it out and the more she cried...the more in gushed out of her nose. I about lost it...but I knew I had to stay calm for her because she just can not handle blood! She flips out every time she sees blood {even if it is a small amount!} She will never be a nurse or doctor!...which is okay, because some people are just not cut out for that.............and she is one of those people!
So I scream for Tyler to come in there and I grab her up and take her into the bathroom. I couldnt get it to stop....and there was so much and she was screaming and shaking. It was horrible to say the least!
At one point she looks up at me and says "Mommy, I dont know what to do!" I looked at her pitiful sad eyes and told her that she didnt have to do anything...that Mommy and Daddy were going to do everything and she just needed to stop crying and calm down.  That seemed to help her because she finally starting relaxing and calming down.
After.........I dont know how long......I got it to stop bleeding and so I got her clothes off and put her in the bathtub. She got a nice warm bath which helped her to feel better and her nose to stop bleeding. Tyler and I got everything cleaned up. {Luckily...with no stains anywhere} AND thankfully her nose........or any other part of her body wasnt broken!
I asked her what happened...and she said she decided she wanted to jump on her bed when she woke up and she tripped and hit her nose on her bed post. OH ME!
{I just wished I felt like jumping on my bed when I wake up in the mornings!........I have to drag myself up! OH the energy that she has! :) }
Needless to say, we had the little talk about how Mommy and Daddy tell you not to do things for a reason...........so things like this wont happen. I know she heard my "speech"............and judging by her reaction......I think it MIGHT have sunk in?!? {hopefully it sunk in a little bit at least!}
Years from now when she is reading this post {if she ever does}....I hope she has learned from this lesson! :)

Once we finally got over that incident....we all got ready and Tyler and I headed to the Braves game! Well, we get to Georgia and it is storming really bad and somehow got cold......so we decided to do some shopping and hit a movie instead of going to the game. We were glad we didnt go because the Braves game ended up having a long rain delay!
Alexis enjoyed the day with Gran as well as going to her friend Nick's birthday party.....and Lily spent the day with Nan and Pawpaw while we were gone!
Even though the weekend didnt go as we had originally hoped/planned it would.....as well as having the horrible experience with Alexis.........we are all home right now and two little girls are tucked snugly and warm in their beds asleep and safe! That is all that really matters to me! :)

There is nothing better than having a morning snuggle with this sweet girl!

Oh my sweet...Alexis....
I took this picture of her with the paper in her nose to keep it from not bleeding. Right after I took it....she goes "Mommy, you better not laugh at that picture of me!" :)
Then  later on I told her that she could take the paper out before going to Nick's birthday party. And she goes "Okay Mommy, yeah I need to take it out so Nick will know who I am at his party!" Tyler and I just busted out laughing! :)
Then tonight when she was saying her prayers...........at the end before she said Amen, she goes "And Jesus, please dont let me jump on my bed anymore!"       She is sooo funny! :)

Lily thought she needed make~up on too while she was getting ready to go to Nan and Pawpaw's! :)

My beautiful girl! :)

Prayers for sweet Thompson Nash Wagoner

There is the most adorably adorable sweet 6 month old baby named Thompson Nash that has been diagnosed with Cancer behind his eyes. His family and him are currently in Memphis, Tennessee at St. Jude Hospital undergoing Chemo and tests.
They have almost completed round one of Chemo and then the doctors will be doing tests to see what the Chemo has done to the tumors to decide when round 2 will start. {Hopefully the tumors have shrunk}
He has an "unknown" amount of tumors in the back of his eyes. His left eye is worse and they are hoping that they do not have to have it removed. They are thinking...right now...that his right eye will be saved because it is not as bad on that side.
I read daily about his progress and his lows. It makes my stomach ache to see the sweet pictures they show of him still smiling even though he is in so much pain and doesnt want to eat. He has been so brave and strong! I cant even imagine what Duff and Missy are going through especially with Thompson not being able to talk to them about what hurts...or what is making him upset because he is so young. On top of that their oldest son is still in Alabama because he is in school. So they are away from him....and he needs and misses his Mommy and Daddy too.
The community has reached out to this sweet family in such an amazing and huge way by fund raisers, donations, and prayers! There are soooo many prayers going out for him and his family! Please pray for this sweet baby. Pray for his Mommy and Daddy and his older brother Sam Parker too. Cancer will not win!

Sweet baby! He was given these glasses from his doctor because his vision was already bad because of the tumors...but with the Chemo too, he now really needs them!

Thompson Nash wearing his "Team Thompson" shirt..............that they have sold TONS of! I have seen these shirts a lot throughout the community and it makes me smile to see all of the support for him! I still need to get some!

Finally the end of the week

This is the first day of the week that we didnt have anything going on.....and usually on Friday is THE day to do something!
T~ball practice was moved to Monday night which worked out because we thought we were going to have to miss since Alexis' graduation was Tuesday.
Wednesday Alexis had her last night of Awanas! She got her end of the season certificate! She has done so well and has really enjoyed going to it. She is going to miss it over the summer but maybe we can be at the community center pool now instead so that should make up for it! :)

Thursday we went with Daddy while he hit some golf balls! In the next couple of weeks starts his work Golf games that he has decided to play!

A very sweet moment happened while us girls were watching him hit balls. Lily and Alexis decided they wanted  to pick flowers {which was actually weeds} {but nonetheless} for me! Well...for whatever reason, I have no idea why....Lily passed two "batches" of the flowers {weeds} and kept going to this one spot that was far away. She would ran as fast as her little legs would let her {which if you havent seen Lily run...you are missing out!!...it is for sure very funny and adorable!} to get the flowers. Then she would run back {with a couple of getting tripped up and falling involved...she would pop herself right back up and not miss a beat!} to me and hand me the flowers! She would look up at me with the most precious expression on her face of "Mommy, I worked so hard to pick these for you!" Then she would turn around and run back to get more! Each time she would come running up to me she would be huffing and puffing! It was one of those things that I guess you would just have to be there to understand how she was.......but it melted my heart for sure! You just never know where some of your most precious memories/moments could come from! :)
So, now it is the weekend...and since we have been going ....going...tonight is niiiice to just sit still and relax!

This was the type of flower the girls were picking for me! :) Now every time I see these in the grass, I can smile and think of sweet Lily!
White clover with characteristic white leaf markings.

Throwback Thursday~Alexis' first day of Preschool!

So...in honor of my little girl graduating!............this Throwback Thursday is
"For a look back in time" at Alexis' very first day of Preschool!

The day was October 8, 2008!

She was just over 3 months old when she started Preschool for the first time at Bright Horizons in Birmingham. It was a really great daycare. It was a "benefit" of my job for her to be able to go there. It was only open for my company's children. Though.....she did get several "love bites" as they called them and scratched pretty good by a fellow friend..overall she had a really great experience there!

We were really sad to leave her sweet friends and teachers when we decided to move her closer to our house when I had a job transfer to the other building on 280. We tried her at Cahaba Valley Learning Center for about a month....and she HATED it!.........I hated it too! It just was not a good "fit" for Alexis to roam and learn. She would cry nearly every morning when I dropped her off...{and Alexis never clings and cries...she usually is so happy to go off and do things!}....and so it broke my heart every time! So, I finally said enough with there and Tyler and I decided to transfer her to The Goddard School.
It was a good bit more expensive and of course Tyler and I wondered how we could fit it in our budget....but it was SO worth it! I learned a very valuable lesson.....that it doesnt matter how much it cost, your child should always be happy when they have to stay at a place all day...everyday! So she transferred there when she was 2 and LOVED it! The teachers were all so nice and she made sooo many friends! {You should have seen how many friends she had at her 2nd birthday party!}...it was so cute!
When Tyler found out he got his new job at JSU we were faced with moving and finding a new school for Alexis to go to. Lily was just a baby so for her adjusting wasnt going to be as bad as Alexis. I was sooo worried that we would not be able to find a place where Alexis loved and learned as much as Goddard. Well, when we finally made the move to Jacksonville...we visited several schools and found Wee Care at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville! She has been there ever since our move! She has loved it there. She has learned so much about the Bible, and Jesus too. She will miss there when she leaves for Kindergarten....but dont worry....she is SO excited about "big" school!

I will NEVER forget this picture! I took this picture right before we walked out the door to go to Preschool for the first day! I remember thinking....'oh look, she is smiling at me...I want to stay here with her all day and not go to work!' I SO hoped that she would have a great first day.....and her teachers said she did! :)

This was the very next day! Her second day of going to school! Look at those chubby cheeks!! :)

Wordless Wednesday!

My Little Graduate!

{Insert tears here} {A lot of tears} My little girl has had her "first graduation"! She has officially graduated from preschool! I distinctly remember when Alexis was a baby...Tyler and I talking about her future--as far as where she might go to school etc...---and I remember thinking OH we have 5 years until then, that is so far away!
Well, I can not even believe that it is actually here! That time has come! Though she is just starting Kindergarten coming up, she will be entering a "whole new world"...the "real world"....and she is SO ready! She is SO excited!! The question is....am I ready!?............ :)

Alexis loves her teachers! Mrs. Annette and Mrs. Beth. They have been so sweet to her!

The theme was "Superhero Graduation Party" It was decorated really cute and they served a great meal of either Spaghetti or Chicken Alfredo with Salad and rolls! Gran, Aunt Pam, Brandi, Pawpaw and Nan joined us! We had a really fun time!

Alexis was so excited to get her "Diploma!"

Alexis and some of her other graduating friends!

Avagail and Alexis! Really great friends!

As Daddy calls her....The "Caped Butterfly Bandit!"...........she is flying away! Up Up and away she goes! :)

This is what her "Diploma" said.... {insert more tears here}

And of course Lily enjoyed the end of the year party too! It was for her too! :)

Lily and Cade! She loves Cade! He is such a cutie!! :) They play so well together! Lily misses him though because she moved to the 2 yr old class and Cade is still in the other room!

Lily making her cape!
This is SUCH a cute video! They called each "graduate" up and said something about them and then gave them their "Diploma!" I didnt get my camera on quick enough to record the beginning of what Mrs. Annette was saying about Alexis ........so I will "recap" it...and also in case you can not hear what all she is saying about her too!
She started off by calling Alexis' name! Then Mrs. Annette said that all the teachers call Alexis their "hummingbird!"....because she is always singing...humming..and dancing! {which is SO true!!} She said Alexis is just so sweet and caring! She then said that Alexis LOVES to color. That she can color for hours and that she is so good at it also! Then Mrs. Annette said everyone is going to miss her singing and dancing! :)

20 months and growing!.....

Miss Lily. What can I say, she is 20 months today and going on 25 years old! She has just bloomed over this past month in every aspect! She is her own little person who is strong, determined, smart, silly, loving and beautiful! She is gaining weight because she can eat a house at every meal! :).....but as far as height....she hasnt gotten much taller. {She for sure is going to be short like me :) ...unless some magic growth spurt happens...which it might!}
Her most favorite thing to do is wear other people's shoes still! Mainly Alexis' shoes!
She has started saying pretty much everything at this point! If you ask her to repeat something....she normally does with pretty good clarity!
She is still obsessed with her paci...in fact...I think she has gotten worse with it despite me trying to break her from it! Just today, Tyler put her down from bringing her in from school. As soon as he let her down she took off running. Well, I wondered where she was going so I followed her. Well, she headed straight to her room and got her paci from her crib! Again...once she gets it she will NOT let it go! Working on breaking her of it has been tough!
Her school went ahead and moved her to the 2 year old class even though she has several months until she is 2 because they said that she is just too bored in the "baby" room. One thing is for sure...she is not a baby anymore. In fact, Tyler says {messing with her} "Lily you're a baby"...and everytime she says "no!" Then he will say "Yes, your are a baby Lily"..and she will say "No, Dop!!" {Dop...means Stop!} ha!
Oh.....my little girls are becoming less and less little girls! Happy 20 months Lily! :)

Roughing it and Mother's Day!

Roughing it?! Is that what Tyler and I did this weekend when we went camping?! Well...for us to be "roughing" it out in the woods with a tent and no running water or a toilet, I have to say we were in a "5 star resort" of a camping spot! :)
Tyler and I loaded up Saturday morning and headed to Piedmont to camp out! We didnt care that there was a 50% chance of rain! We were determined/excited to go especially since it got rained out the weekend before! You should have seen Tyler's truck loaded down with everything.under.the.sun! Tyler thought of EVERYTHING for our one night trip! I have to say, I was VERY impressed! :) We had such a great time together out in the middle of no where! We neither one had a watch or anything...so we didnt even know what the time was all day yesterday!........it was sooo nice! I really love how Tyler and I enjoy spending time together. We really do just have a great time together no matter where we are! I am very thankful to have a husband that I can relax and know that he knows how to handle things and get things done! I feel very safe when he is around! :) We had a nice relaxing time together!
With it being Mother's Day today, it was a great one! We enjoyed our day with both Nan and Gran to make Mother's Day complete.
Alexis never ceases to crack me up! She asked me if I had a great Mother's Day? And...I said yes, I sure did! And she goes....well "Mommy, when is it going to be kid day? since you have had your Mommy's day?" I had to inform her that everyday is "kid's Day!" :)
I am sooo very blessed to know that God chose me to be Lily and Alexis' Mommy! I dont know what I have done to deserve these two most beautiful little girls, but I am so thankful! I always "thought" I knew what being a Mommy was about--when I didnt have kids---but now that I am, my world has changed! Some days--well most days---I feel I have no clue what I am doing-- but just having them lay their head on my shoulder or seeing them smile makes me think that I may be doing something right! They wear me out and make me laugh more than anything I have ever been faced with! I can not wait to keep being their Mommy and watching them grow into beautiful Moms one day themselves! :)

Alexis' first "battle wound!!" She had her first "boo-boo" at her T~ball game Friday night! Alexis played so well Friday! She hit the ball good every time and even hustled to get the ball when it was hit to her. {Even though the ball went right through her legs one time!} ha! You would think that the cut on her nose was from her playing so good during the game! Well....it is actually from her turning her hat all the way around her head..{being silly}...and a little boy {Hudson}on her team started doing that too....while the game was going on....and then he decided to take his hat off and throw it. Well, guess where the hat went?! It scrapped her nose! Go figure right! :)
----but if anybody asks her what happened to her nose-----she was really diving really hard to catch a line drive that was coming at her and she cut her nose somehow as she dove and caught the ball! ;)

Welcome to The Hotel Grand Camping Resort! Welcome...welcome! :)
We had such a great time! Our tent was really spacious! It rained on us for about 30 minutes...but have no fear, at the five star camping resort....we watched a movie on Tyler's computer while it rained! The rain stopped and it was a beautiful afternoon/night after that! I got a little chilly during the night, but never cold!

Tyler is setting up the Scrabble board! Yep, we played Scrabble! Tyler and I have always enjoyed playing this against each other--even in College! I am really....REALLY bad at Scrabble, but I like to play him! We HAVE to carry around a Dictionary where ever we take Scrabble because we are constantly challenging each other!! :)

We shot "Turkey!!" I never got the bullseye...but Tyler did! I am proud I at least hit the box! And....this out here was also the "toilet" too! Yeah.....it was 5 star....but no toilet! :)

I had to take a picture of this! Tyler's Turkey CRACKS me up! ha! We went over to another part of the land later on and sat in a blind to see some real Turkies. We didnt see any, but we did see alot of Dove. Tyler and I shot a couple of birds!

We enjoyed a 5 star dinner for sure! Tyler cooked us some steaks {which were SO good!} and we had potato salad and baked beans! He even cooked us some scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast! Again....he thought.of.everything!!

Big News and Sneak peeks!

I dont think I have sat down all week thus far! We have been going and going!
Tuesday was a BIG day in Jacksonville. I was really torn on who to cheer for because Auburn came to play JSU in baseball! I really never thought Auburn and JSU would play each other.....just because Auburn is a much bigger college, but they did! Tyler and I enjoyed a small "date" night watching JSU pretty much dominate the whole game! I ended up leaving early because Gran was watching the girls so I needed to get home...on top of the fact that it was FREEZING at the game! It is MAY....MAY and still cold outside! I just cant get over it! My feet were frozen at the game! I found myself cheering for the gamecocks over Auburn. {even though I do LOVE my Auburn Tigers!!} When I left the game JSU was beating Auburn 6 to 0. Well, Tyler told me that by the end of the game Auburn came back and won! So I have to say, Auburn won {which I am happy for} but it is BIG news for JSU to play so hard against a much bigger college!

Now onto bigger news of the week! Alexis had her mini ballet recital {practice} and got her ballet costume! Tyler got to enjoy watching Alexis preform her recital ballet routine at her school. I didnt get to go because I had to work! :( Daddy said she did SO good amidst the chaos of "dancing" :) I cant wait to see my cute little ladybug at her recital!

And MORE big news! Alexis had her T~ball pictures today! It was SO hot outside! {Isnt it crazy that one day/night it is freezing....and then a day or so later I sweat to death outside!!}....anyways my little girly girl t~baller was sooo cute with her team!

And now the biggest news of the week......Tyler and I decided that starting in June, Alexis will be doing the summer camp at the Jacksonville Community Center and Lily is going to move to a new daycare at the United Methodist Church. We are sad we are leaving Wee Care because we love there...but we are excited about the new change! Stay tuned for our new adventures at our new places!.......
Well, tomorrow is Friday! Whoo~hoo!! Alexis has a t~ball game tomorrow  night....and then this weekend is Tyler and my camping trip! I am doing another rain dance so that it doesnt rain! :)

Sneak  peek of Alexis in her ballet costume! A little ladybug! She is SO proud of her Dance medal she received! She has worn it everyday since she has gotten it!

Beautiful little ladybug!
