1st day of virtual learning.....

Sooooooooooooooooooo..............................

How is it going you say?

You want to know....

youre dying for me to tell you?!?!

Well.................................................

we all failed!

There I said it!

It took me 15 minutes and having to leave the 'meeting' multiple times to get it finally all to work! One minute we could see everyone....the next we couldnt hear them. Then Mrs. Nelson couldnt get her double screens to work to show both her face and her lesson.... BUT....finally it all seemed to get kinked out and we were rocking and rolling!

Well.........then we had lunch.......

and it was Alexis' turn........

AND BOMB!

They are doing the ENTIRE 6h grade class........... AT ONE TIME!

like WHAT!?!?!

Bless the kids.......they havent seen each other in forever so they were allll trying to talk.......all trying to get everything figured out.................and ALL of them kept asking questions...........and questions.......and questions..........then parents were asking questions....then someone didnt mute their microphone so we heard the very loud TV blaring...............or the kid who had his Mom on her cellphone in the background...........and it goes on and on!

If Mr. Moon didnt say 'MUTE your microphones' once...........he said it a CATRILLION times....and they still wouldnt do it!

I was about to loose my mind! Literally! And judging by FB and Carrie, Alison and Ashley {us texting each other during this madness} everybody was loosing their minds with it!

So, after an hour of kid questions.................finally Mr. Moon went over his lesson!

Currently as I am typing this............Alexis is now frustrated and pouting as she is doing her 'homework' that Mr. Moon gave after his lesson! OH ME!

And..........the JOY..........we get to do this ALL over again tomorrow! OH happy day!

Tomorrow Lily has Math..............and everyday Alexis has her other courses and assignments!

I just cant wait! :)

My first student, of the morning................well....see...already rebelling against me! :)
She was READY to roll!
She didnt realize exactly how this was going to go. In her mind...she was thinking it would be allllll fun and games. Little did she know..she was going to have to actually do work! Today she learned about 'Bossy R' :)
Using pennies to help with sounding out words.
Mrs. Nelson explaining 'Bossy R'
Writing down words and sounding them out with the 'R'

DAY 1! :)
Made it through Lily....barely..........then on to Alexis! Thank goodness they are not at the same time doing all of this! I might have a stroke!
She was excited to see all of her teachers and classmates!
Work...work...work...and more work! She has a class a day and work for each class that is due by the end of the day. Yeah....fun right!?
Please say a prayer for us that our new schedule....and way of life....goes smoothly with as little meltdowns as possible too! :)
